"From the moment my friend and I arrived at the door, we had to be 'checked out ' to see if we were good-looking enough to get in, we then get in and order some champagne and cocktails, and an hour into the evening 1 drink started to cost £40! Because of the strikes, it was basically the last resort to stay there and try to have a good time. The managers of the club were also very odd and uncomfortable, at 1 point I was been given free double vodkas from the bartender when I asked for water, the whole experience was really strange and uncomfortable and just because it 's a club in the heart of London it doesn 't mean it was good. I would never recommend this place under no circumstances, I wish my friend and I stayed in and got a takeaway because Maddox is a very strange place with an off vibe.NEVER AGAIN"
