"A great hangout spot with a quaint outdoor area. Perfect for coffee or lunch with friends and even better for a date. Absolute favorite from here is their dark and white chocolate cookie with ice cream. A bit pricey but I keep coming back for their desserts (they're sandwiches and pizzas are great too! <br/ <br/ Recently tried their Monday night R49 pasta special, tasted the Chicken,tomato and chili chorizo pasta and their vegetarian pesto broccoli pasta. It was quite tasty and very filling. Definitely a great deal!"

"Retro, modern and elegant is the perfect three adjectives that would describe this place, open early in the morning till mid afternoon serving amazing coffee and some of the best in the city. We had a red cappuccino and Americano both well made and delicious in flavors. The Americano for me, was not too acidic, but a had a perfect balance of flavors and I’d recommend it. <br/>The venue is also very cool with cars found all over the shop ranging of vintage to modern cars which add to the vibe and feel of the place. It’s honestly such an amazing coffee shop and no words can describe it. Our rating: amazing"

"When you mind has been made up of what you want to eat, it's easy to find the ideal place. Saturday morning, after a long week I've been craving a healthy light snack (museli bowl) but all too bad when the restaurant you choose only has 4 seasonal fruits. Nonetheless, I ended up having the best sandwich. What's a Saturday morning without a nice cup of coffee and vibrant sounds of the city and market."

"Entertainer led us to this lovely streetside cafe. The breakfast was delicious. We shared two dishes-the salmon Benedict with perfectly poached eggs and thick salmon on Bavarian brown toast with a delicious hollandaise sauce. The second dish was homemade fruit salad with Greek yogurt, honey and delicious crunchy,nutty granola. The freshly squeezed juice was lovely. It was an intimate setting with quality food and good service. They handled loadshedding so well!"

"I always enjoy the food (especially the breakfast) at Melissa's. The chicken pie is very good. And I love that you can order Melissa's from OrderIn. Perfect for a lazy weekend morning when you are craving a delicious breakfast in the comfort of your own home. Scrambled eggs and bacon on a croissant is my favourite!"

"10/10 Mugg Bean Kenilworth Centre blew my mind on Wednesday. We went for their Ramadan special and honestly we were expecting a few slip up but there were NONE! Everything they served was delicious. The food was divine! The service was top notch! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. I couldn't make out who the manager was, until we asked, because it was all hands on deck to make their customers happy. I'll go back in a heart beat."

"South Africa is known for braai and meat particularly. One of the things I longed for but never had the opportunity to during the safari trip to Kenya and Tanzania in 2013 was trying game meats. They just weren't offered at the places we went. There's a few places offering such things in Cape Town Arnold's, Mama Africa, Karibu, Mama Africa, Gold, Marco's seem to be the names I found online."
