"Katalina's is one of those places that's just always busy! While their line is consistently out the door, they always do a good job of moving food and people quickly. One of the ways they do this is by not letting anyone get a table until they've ordered their food. Menu does well with labeling for vegetarian and vegan options. More vegetarian than vegan choices, including a vegetarian sausage. With the need for quick turn over, Katalina's is not willing of substitutions. You can leave ingredients out, but they do not want you to switch it for any other items. Their avocado toast is to die for! Be aware that a good chunk of seating is outside and that may be your only option."

"First time visiting Northstar Cafe and it was quite a busy Sunday afternoon. I arrived around 1 pm and had to wait in a small line outside 10 15ish people ahead of me . Thankfully there are menus inside the vestibule so you can review what you want to order ahead of time. I ordered the Simple Salad $7 and the biscuit with strawberry preserves $4 . "

"Wow, this place was great. the personal was very nice. that was delicious. 4 adult and 2 children on our party and everyone loved eating. it was good. the first time there and we will keep the definitiw as one of our top breakfast places!"

"Coming from Georgia, where if one Waffle House is too crowded you just go up the street to the next one, my visit here was better than back home. I was just happy to find a location open 24 hours again, but I was blown away after I sat down; the food got out fast and everything was cooked to comfort food perfection. The staff were very attentive to me and my folks, which I appreciate even more since it was my first time seeing them in half a year. This one's definitely a new favorite haunt and I'll be coming back for sure."

"I’d give 3-1/2 stars. Like most places there was over an hour wait on a Thursday night. When seated there was a large table next to us that was waiting to be cleared, the two hours we were there the table was never cleaned. I thought that was kinda gross and definitely an eye sore. Of course restaurant under staffed we received silverware with our main course even though we had apps. We didn’t receive bread when arriving and had to ask several times before a small piece arrived after our main course. Food was good. I wasn’t a fan of the bisque all liquid no meat. Service was just the down fall of this visit."

"Great place for brunch! I had the Mile high omelet with egg whites. It came with toast and red skin potatoes. Very tasty and a good amount of food. The $4 bloody Mary bar looked good, but I did not try it. It seemed like it was unlimited toppings. Our server was friendly and one person had to have eggs taken back to the kitchen. She took care of this right away and apologize for the inconvenience. I would recommend this as a must try brunch spot."

"This unpretentious downtown café features first-class American comfort food, served quickly and in many portions by a friendly waiting staff. The food is all freshly prepared, which means it is long to taste. The sandwich menu is big, with something sure to please everyone. I definitely recommend the curly pommes as a side. Daily specials add even more variety to the already large menu. This 'come as you are ' Cafe is the perfect place for a satisfying meal in a simple but attractive environment."
