"I visited this place to have breakfast, and ended up enjoying it immensely. The place is amazingly inexpensive, and the food tastes delicious. I ordered the breakfast meal with fried eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, mushrooms and other things. They were very cooperative in switching the mushrooms for beams. The coffee tastes delicious, and is served piping hot. The service is really nice and amazing, and there are many newspapers to read. There is a long wait at times, but it is worth it. I am glad I visited."

"Just recently moved to the area and after walking past a few times I decided it was time to actually try it out and stop peering in! Went on a Sunday afternoon around 12 and it was quite busy but no queue. Even though there were lots of people and waitresses milling around it did't feel too cramped or stressful. I had the veggie breakfast which was very nice although I wasn't entirely full afterwards. Hot chocolate is very good, not too chocolatey so it feels slightly healthier! The person I was with had a peanut butter smoothie and absolutely loved it. Very nice atmosphere, good food and they even offer a range of gluten free cakes/pastries."

"We ate here recently with the family, and everything we asked for was great, very tasty and nothing greasy like Turkish food. If you just want a snack, I'd recommend your gozleme, eat potatoes, cheese and spinach, both were full of flavor. We had a mixed plate of meze, and the phalafal was probably the best I had.It is worth a visit."

"I have been several times to this cafe unfortunately, and every single time have received extremely rude service, very very slow service and extremely average to below average food. The last time I came with a friend (both with babies) the waitresses made it abundantly clear that we were not welcome (it was more than half empty and a rainstorm outside), to the extent that we felt we had to leave before ordering. I will never waste my money in this place again and urge travellers to search elsewhere for a good restaurant in Hackney."

"When I first went to bohemia, for a storytelling night of “Romantic Misadventures” and the pop-up folk, it was the Manhattans project behind the bar. at the time I was hit by the place. it seemed cute, a little ramshackle with several wooden tables for four and many artful things on the walls, low-hanging lights and the comforting groomed of the overlying underfloor. it seemed like the place where you could get comfortable with a coffee, or for a bite to eat something secret, with a relaxed atmosphere.
