"Arrived in the deli to have a long cozy lunch to celebrate my other half 66th birthday. the waitress that served us had no idea how to wait tables, nor what was on the menu. we ordered 2 meeres fruits buckets with bread....Why said that the meeress was not on camp after waitress had gone to order through. disappointed ordered 2 crooked sandwiches instead. the brot was served and had to reject this if not in stock as an original order, but on the menu board. it seemed that the crab sandwiches were brought from the next door into sandwich packages. totally disappointed, felt really involuntary and that we only pay £9.50 for a crab sandwich because we didn't pay for the name quality! gott help everyone to visit in the height of the summer! no care."

"Fantastic room even though we did not have a sea view. Complementary gin and sherry in the room, which was a nice touch. Not sure if they decorated during lockdown but the hotel was looking fresh same as our room. Very clean with lots of space. Staff were helpful and I really cannot find anything negative to write."

"Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Without a doubt one of the worst dining experiences in a long time. There was no ambience whatsoever, and the service was lacklustre at best. For a restaurant in such a popular place, in a great location, how can they get it...so wrong. The starters were fine, but the main could have been better if they had served a supermarket microwave meal. Bland, tasteless, and clearly reheated from frozen. I had the shellfish chowder. It was gross. No flavour, and frankly an embarrassment. My wife had the fish and chips, and whilst the batter was ok, the fish had no flavour at all. The menu highlighted allotment grown vegetables not sure I have ever seen asparagus and French beans grown in December. We did mention to the one waitress on shift, and were given the fish and chips for free. For a bill of this was questionable. What a shame. The place could be amazing, but clearly standards have slipped. We were not alone, of the other tables tonight, complained. Says it all really. There are lots of better options in Newquay, let's hope someone with real passion takes this on soon."

"Amazing service, we were staying in Praa called in last minute for Sunday lunch with our 2 children one over tired 4 year old and a baby. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Sunday lunch was all home cooked and very tasty. Great value and a lovely place."

"Friday is fish night so the saying goes. You cant go wrong with Head Chef Terry's Haddock fillet in a really light batter, chips and mushy peas and all for £6.....what more could you ask for?"

"You need to book in advance to get a table. Unfortunately, we were not able to book in advance. However, we were accommodated by their staff, and they asked us if it was okay that the table didn’t have a sea view. We immediately said no problem, since we went there for the food. We were very pleased since me and my friends are really hungry We ordered their scallops, crispy sesame chicken, chowder, King prawn and catch of the day. They were all exquisite!! we were happy with the chowder! I was just surprised with the serving of the scallops but overall, it was tasty! The staff were excellent, the location wise- accessible, the food was delicious, serving time was alright"

"This restaurant was the highlight of our trip to Bedruthan. Ate here twice, and was the best food I’ve eaten in a long time. I loved the concept of shared tapas-style starters, and also appreciated the generous side dishes that came with all the mains. Really excellent."
