"Good Sunday lunch but the menu was very limited. A bit more of a choice would have been better. What was served was great and the service was fantastic!"

"We booked a table for a friend's birthday. We arrived on time and had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. We understood that restaurant was busy but the attitude of the bar staff was appalling. They were disinterested and more concerned with table bookings and time slots rather than taking care of their customers in front of their eyes. After 10 minutes of trying to make eye contact and get one of the staffs attention, she looked at me and spoke to me like I was an inconvenience. When I eventually ordered drinks and paid for them it took a further 10 minutes and 2 further enquiries as to where the drinks were . I was then told responded to in a sharp prickly tone. When our table was ready, we got told we could sit. We didn't get shown over. We ordered drinks at the table and the lady who served us spilt a drink all down the back if that birthday girls dress. She was clearly very embarrassed and apologied profusely. However we weren't offered any gesture of good will or anything to demonstrate an apology. Unfortunately the girl with the headphone was stressed and struggling to cope and made no attempt at disguising her frustration and stress. The gentleman at the ba with dread locks was disinterested with poor customer service. There was a young lady with glasses who served and cleaned the tables and she was much better. I observed her reassuring that lady wearing the headphones several times and despite how busy they restaurant was ,she appeared to take it in her stride and get on with the task in hand. In all honesty that way we were treat put us off completely. The food was ok but I wouldn't return based on the chaos and attitude of the staff."

"I’d heard great things about the French Quarter and booked a table for Thursday evening. I wasn’t disappointed. The food was great, planche mixte and pil pil prawns, staff friendly and knowledgeable, great house wine and desserts really good too. We’d had such a brilliant meal that we decided to try and book again on Friday evening , luckily we got the last 2 seats at the bar. This time I had the mussels, best I’ve ever eaten, and my husband decided to have the planche mixte again! Superb food, lovely ambience and reasonably priced. Can’t wait to return"

"I came here for a quick dinner before gym and unexpectedly I was absolutely blown away. The manager soto was very quick to greet me and see to my needs , practically had a drink on my table in seconds , recommended the seabass and again extremely tasty and the waitress amy was smiling away and making me feel like my evening was brightening up . I was going to go to gym but the atmosphere seems to be keeping me here."

"Absolutely terrible. We had a table booking for a large party at 7pm but they had ‘overbooked’ the restaurant so we didn’t get seated until 8:10pm. There was no apology from any of the staff or managers. The food eventually came and everyone only had around 5 potato skins on their plate. The pizzas were tasteless and no one brought Parmesan or black pepper, even thought we asked twice for it. Terrible food and customer service. Avoid."
