"I had a sumptuous dinner at Chakrabongse, my last evening in SE Asia, watching the sunset and the lights come up on Wat Arun. It was a fixed menu, with 10 dishes (the appetizers were small). Each bite was delectable! The deep-fried sea bass was out of this world, so light and flavorful! The massaman beef curry was so rich. The chef shops in the early afternoon, so you need to reserve before then—and it’s all so fresh! It was a magical evening. I highly recommend Chakrabongse!"

"Testing 1 2 3…Phanfa is a Thai Chinese cuisine recommended by Mark Wiens…that day walked pass saw the chicken hanging this way so just walked away…Today want to try famous Thipsamai Pad Thai walked pass again…there are 3 tables of local customers so give a try… Food is lack of warmness but to my surprise quite tasty…chicken is juicy, rice has slight fragrance…ok leh 7/10 After ate then I noticed the botak server touched here touched there no wear gloves "

"This must be one of the most unforgettable culinary experiences we have ever had. all about insects in the backyard is from this world. super service by the attentive staff. they have seasoned enough to know when they rely on the sights for a self-directed exploration/a very instantly eruption. they have also seen enough first painters to be sensitive to impress the people who are on a brave front to their better halves. they love the luxurious yet relaxed mood. very generously furnished with sorted taxidermied animal world arranged in dioramen, one in the main room and another in the private back dining area. and this show stealing sculpture of a gigantic baptism of carnivorous plants hanging next to the numerous antique chandeliers. unexpected cheerfulness. the menu is simple for the inconvenient and has beautifully designed photos to describe what they are getting in. that makes it all the more amazing that the dishes that were served looked exactly as those on the menu. It needed beer to help with the bug. could taste the fresh of the ingredients. just don't expect ravioli, risotto or whatever you order to be the best you ever tasted. expect the fresh insects to add a pleasant crunchiness. my favorite was the grashüpfer. the Thai water bug was the largest and most challenging one to eat. command! Don’t let the fine dining table intimidate. the prices are extremely reasonable. there is a tasting menu specially designed for them to experience a little of everything on the menu. super fun! I highly recommend it."

"Really good experience, service is top notch and the servers are excellent. The happy hour drink deal is great, 150 baht for the 1st drink and your wife's is free. Then 150 baht per drink after (from special drink menu). You are served fresh bread and they have Olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the table for dipping. The food was very good, I had gnocchi and to be honest it was ok, the gnocchi was a little too soggy for me, I love gnocchi that has a little more structure for me, this dish tasted overdone. The pizza was very good. I would suggest they season the arugula with a little olive oil and salt as it was put on the pizza plain which is boring and does not add to the flavor of the pizza. Pricing is what you would expect at a North American restaurant but a nice escape when you are looking for something a little familiar. A super nice touch is the chocolate slab you are presented with with the bill. Very classy!"
