"Beware of extra tip added by the cashier or waiter AFTER you left the restaurant. I put $12 on the receipt as tip but got an electronic receipt by email 3 hours later with a $19 tip on it. The next day I called and talked to the manager about this. After a few minutes of his investigation, he called me back with this lame explanation: Your 2 has a little circle on top so might look like a 9 ! I replied: My cursive 2 with a lavish bottom absolutely does NOT look like a 9, plus I did put the total at the bottom, didn 't I? The manager said yes. I did get a $7 refund immediately but instead of acknowledging it as a forgery, the manage didn 't comment on the ridiculous excuse they came up with. Never encountered anything like this before. An eye-opening experience and shame on them."
