"We were a party of four on a week night and our server was Christie. Most of the tables were occupied but the staff seemed to have everything under control and our service was timely and friendly. We all had something different and were all pleased with the presentation, quantity and taste of our choices. We would recommend it highly."

"Four of us dined at Pasquale's Trattoria earlier this week and found the menu to be fairly authentic Italian, well cooked and presented, and a well-run restaurant. The wine is a bit on the expensive side but all of us enjoyed the starters and main courses. Two of us particularly enjoyed linguine congolese. It's a fairly straightforward recipe but the pasta was fresh and the clam sauce was the right level of piquant seafood flavour."

"I went with my elderly dad for an early meal on a cold Tuesday night. My father really craves real Italian food and I thought this traditional kind of place would suit the bill. We were both very happy with everything this unassuming place had to offer. I had the grilled calamari and my dad the shrimp sambuca. We followed with linguine pescatore and linguine with clams. The food was served fast and hot, the seafood was not over cooked and the pasta was al dente. The server/cook took care to chat with dad and made sure we had everything we needed.Some reviewers here say, that the owner, cook, server, cashier - Manny - is Italian. He is not but the food was fresh, delicious and satisfied an old-school Italian man. Truthfully it was a bit heavy, over sauced and presented a bit old fashioned if you are used to contemporary cuisine.Next time I am visiting Oakville my father and I have another date set to go back. We enjoyed that it was not too busy or noisy for a nice chat. The portions were huge, enough for a dinner and a lunch, and the prices were very reasonable. On next visit I might just order a salad as they were meal sized portions and fresh and appealing.I would not however choose this place for a big party (I doubt he could handle many covers at once). I would not choose it for a special occasion, the decor is old fashioned and the place is huge and generally kind of empty feeling. But for a cold weekday night it was the ideal choice."
