"If you enjoy fresh and crispy fish & chips PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. The title of this review is no exaggeration. This "seafood restaurant" does not even deserve one star - our experience was so horrible. We ordered two takeaway combos, one grilled and one battered and they were both revolting. Everything was soggy and plain, the salad was dead, nothing was fresh. Such a disappointing meal. In Adelaide, where good food and wine is the reason many tourists visit, restaurants simply cannot afford to serve meals like this. Then to add insult to injury, the service was very poor - we were made to feel awkward while waiting, as though we shouldn't be ordering takeaway fish & chips from a fish & chips restaurant. Very disappointed we wasted one of our meals out in Adelaide here and will advise everyone we know against going."

"This is one of those places in Adelaide that has had a long history. I remember when it was a roaring nightspot back in the late 80s and I used to frequent this place quite regularly. However times have changed a lot and the old bar that I would try to sneak into is no longer. As a restaurant it actually isn't bad. We used to regularly come down here for a Friday lunch, and I must admit that they made a pretty decent schnitzel. However, as a night spot it is pretty empty and quite dull. There are much better places to spend a Friday night."

"I haven't been back to Adelaide for a while and was hanging out for some lovely SA seafood. Seems like a lot of the old regular haunts have disappeared but this place was a great new find. It is a very big space but service was spot on, it had a great range of wines and the seafood was superb .. fresh and succulent. Our meals ranged across Prawns, Octopus and SA Whiting and all were great. The char grilled octopus was an absolute standout. The only downside ... a bit expensive."

"It feels like a long time as I enjoy this style of food-serbian bbq, a meat lover sky. reminds me of decades ago, including the lively joyful live music when there were several wonderful bbq places in adelaide hindley street, the similar...big eating, friendly welcome and attentive service. my daughter and I decided for the moment. First we thought it was a little expensive, but the quality of the food, generous served and great service meant that it was overall good. we enjoyed carving and waking for escape. both delicious, as well as our main dish meat plate, perfectly cooked. the ribs were particularly good. this together with a beautiful bottle grenache and a common baklava made for dessert for a beautiful evening. thanks kaffana."

"Outstanding food, not your usual Thai slops on a plate. Beautifully presented and fresh. Lovely atmosphere too. Unfortunately, the service was extremely lacking. We had to get the attention of someone to place our order as we had been waiting a while and not even asked if we wanted drinks. After we ordered food and drinks, the drinks were delivered and we were asked if we wanted to order food??? A clear lack of communication. We were not made aware of any specials, I later discovered a specials board... No one checked on us to ask if everything was okay. Apart from the inattentive service, everything was great."
