"We went to the bistro on a visit to Dubbo on the recommendation of our accommodation host. Despite it being a Tuesday night at about 6pm and not school holidays, so not at what I would expect to be a busy time, the wait for...our meals was more than half an hour. We watched many people who we knew had been in the queue behind us get their meals before us. There looked to be many staff in the kitchen so this was strange. I did approach the order area to ask if perhaps our orders had been forgotten but no one stopped to answer my questions so I returned to our table. When the meals eventually arrived, we had asked for medium steak but the steak we received was well done and very chewy. Chips and vegies were bland. For $29 I would expect a better steak than that and there was no explanation or apology about the long wait. Really disappointing."
