"Our server was amazing. Can't remember her name but she was an older woman with dark, short hair. My veggies were a little overseasoned and my potatoes were not seasoned at all. However, they were cooked perfectly. There were many pieces of shells in my crab cakes but they were delicious. It's a small restaurant and it was packed the entire time. It made it challenging to maneuver around due to people being everywhere and tables being so close together. It was also very loud. There also isn't much space for you to wait for your table so people stand wherever they can find a space even if it is right over you at your table. It was also very warm."

"I ordered the seafood supreme platter, I opened it up and the food had weird white stuff all over it and it looked pretty disgusting to be honest. The food was super cold but I ate it because my tummy was hungry. The only reason I give it a 2 is because of the big fat women in the front. She treated me with respect and I gave her my big pot in fortnite."

"Great menu and atmosphere! Nice to come here. You're amazing. Unfortunately, the food lacks consistency when it comes to taste and temperature. There are often cold entrances to the table. It's hard to eat a supposedly hot duck, cold. The manager isn't the nicest guy either. He was quite controversial when he brought these questions to his attention. He literally took our cold order of the oysters and brought them back to us. Talk about cross-contamination! He refused to make it complete for us because he said he didn't want to waste food. That was the straw for us. We will not return. This experience was certainly a deal breaker. I don't think he's the General Manager. You need to learn how to provide better customer service and become a little more sincere when communicating with guests who spend their money in your institution."

"We started off a little rocky. I went for Sunday Brunch and unlimited Mimosas and had to wait ten minutes after seated to place a drink order. My second drink I had to ask for and when I didn't get it, I had to get up and walk to the bar for a refill. About 50 minutes into my stay I had to ask someone passing by for a menu. Once they realized that I had NO server Morgan came to my table. She apologized for my wait and even though she had been cut already she was going to take care of me. I was finally getting somewhere. They did make my wait worth while after that and the food was really good. I returned the following Wednesday for Whiskey Wednesday and wasn't disappointed. Jamie was a great server and the bartender did me right with the Old Fashion, Sazerac and Manhattan that I ordered."

"Sid Linda’s is the best seafood restaurant in Jacksonville. Hands down. It’s a hidden gem. The oysters are cold, sweet and delicious. The steamed shrimp are enormous and perfectly seasoned. The crab legs are amazing. The fried seafood and everything on their menu is great. It’s affordable. You get way more than you’re paying for. The service is outstanding. Wonderful family. Very attentive, friendly and hospitable. Love how casual and at home they make us feel. I am from Louisiana and know my seafood. Sid and Linda obviously do too. Became a regular after the first visit. Never disappoints!"
