"Went to an 'Allo 'Allo themed Cabaret and Dinner evening here and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Stuart provided delicious food with great portion size while Dorothee made sure you had great service along with Sophie. Gavin Sheppard 's vocals were brilliant while Stuart and Paul 's hilarious Allo Allo interludes kept us entertained between courses. All in all the evening was superb."

"My husband and I had a 3 course meal here on Sunday and were throughly impressed from start to finish. Everything from the service to the food quality and the pricing was absolutely superb. My husband loved the concept of going to the fish/meat counter to pick out your own steak and being able to watch the chefs cook it (which was done to perfection btw! . I loved the countryside-feel to the location, too. Shame that the adjoining farm shop was shut as I was looking forward to purchasing some fresh, local produce. Hopefully, we can pop in next time we dine @Caesars!"

"I love the old custom house. a trace of the sight of the eyes at a wet summer Sunday, me, husband and adult daughter. the staff was friendly and helpful, menu is on chalkboard behind the counter, so take their glasses! great display of fresh fishing, but remember it price per kilo not per portion! my daughter and I have for Sunday dinner, roast beef, £17.95 for two courses, delicious! I had the fishcake, nice. husband had garlauch mushroom followed by sea bass with garlic he said was really good. we had puddings that were delicious and a glass of wine. yes, it was a bit expensive, about £90 for the three of us, but it was a bit special and we enjoyed our lunch and would recommend"
