"We came from out of town looking for a great Thai restaurant near where we had an appointment. After reading reviews of several places we picked Noi Thai based on other reviews. We were a little nervous considering the part of town and “ hole in the wall” appearance but took a chance anyway. WOW are we ever glad we did!! Absolutely everything we chose was fabulous!! The crisp cream cheese crab bites were delightful, the coconut soup, coconut rice and chicken cashew were tasty and fresh. The chicken in all dishes tasted like the chicken we ate growing up, the vegetables were crisp and fresh, the sauces just right. I regret not taking photos but we were so enthralled that we had dug in before we even thought of it! The best part though is this… We had brought an insulated bag to take our meal home to eat which we did. Our drive home was 45 minutes and it was an hour before we actually sat down to eat. Our food was still beautifully warm and tasty and the leftovers next day were great too. For my husband and I we spent just over $50 (including tip) and had enough for 2 meals each. Great value and fabulous food! We will definitely make the trip back to Noi Thai next time we are in Edmonton!"

"Food was weird. No descriptions on the menu items. We're thought the mango chicken would have mango pieces, but it was just deep fried chicken in mango flavored syrup. I thought it was going to be Japanese cuisine but it was not. Would not recommend"

"Walked in and sat ourselves. About 4 tables in the restaurant. 15 minutes into our visit went and got our own menus. Ordered ceasar salads to start. A full size split with no croutons and a side order with extra dressing. The full size was slammed on the table as the server told us they were " too busy" to split it and gave us plates to do it ourselves. There was croutons in it when we asked for none. And the side salad didn't have extra dressing as ordered. Our food sat visibly in the pass for enough time to have a cigarette before it was delivered. Portions seem very small to what they used to be, as you can see. The waitress was incredibly rude when condiments such as parmigian cheese and hp sauce were requested. Shocked that a restaurant with such a reputation is allowing this much disservice to loyal and returning patrons. This makes me not want to return."

"I wanted to mark my twin grandsons’ high school graduation in a special way. I wasn’t surprised by the added on 18% gratuity for a large group but I was also told that 1 bill was preferred. This worked for the food but I requested separate bills for the drinks and this seemed to be a bit of a problem although it all worked out in the end. The service was good -it seemed to improve throughout the evening although I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a special dessert or something offered to the graduates. The food for the children came out last which also was a bit disappointing and there is only one vegetarian option on the menu. The food itself, however, was absolutely top notch … everyone ordered something different (except for the vegetarian choices) and there wasn’t a bite left. All the choices were so good! I personally shared the poached pear salad (generous portion, perfectly dressed, very fresh) and the bouillabaisse (perfectly cooked seafood, delicious and flavourful broth that accented the fish without overpowering it) and a perfect cappuccino. All in all, a great place for a special dinner."
