"Has a slightly deserted feeling too it (20% full in mid-July, and quite dirty and old sunbeds etc). Food in the restaurant was underwhelming. I ordered the tuna steak, which first of all was small and second of all was 40% dark tuna meat ie not tasty at all. When pointed out to service, they said this is perfectly normal. I’ve never been served a tuna like this in 50+ times eating it in restaurants."

"Everything was over cooked. I ordered the swordfish which came with boiled potatoes, carrots and brocoli. Looked good. But, the carrot and potato were cold, as if they had been left out for a long time after cooking and boiled minutes too long. They...were mushy and tasted like they had been left is sea water. So salty it was hard to swallow. The fish was also over cooked the texture was disgusting. I’m a traveler on a budget I can’t afford Euros going to waste but by then I also knew there was nothing else I wanted to eat in this restaurants. The staff was nice. So I reached for a Kleenex in my purse, spat out the fish I could not possibly swallow, paid and left. When Paying, I had a first look at the “chefs”. The ladies looked miserable and did not want to be there at all. Stay away but pretty much all restaurants around Cascais looked like tourist traps. I walked around some more and headed out."
