"Thai Original BBQ The restaurant is located opposite the Los Cerritos shopping center. It is usually packed with people. Anyone who wants to take a bite at this restaurant should come early, book a place or call in time. From the outside, the restaurant seems small. However, it is quite spacious on the inside and is not at all cramped. A fish tank welcomes you when you enter. The waiters/waxes come to you as soon as they can. ( During the busy hours you need to log in to your name and wait to stay sitting. The restaurant is clean and simply furnished. There are some interesting art posters framed on the walls of the restaurant. The restaurant is known for its BBQ chicken. The name of the restaurant. If my friends have a desire for a good BBQ chicken, they automatically think of Thai Original BBQ Restaurant. Other friends of mine also associate the restaurant with good pad Thai or “classic Thai rice noodle dish with shrimps, bean sprouts and egg, all thrown in a tasteful sauce”. (I had the pad Thai here in the past and will say it on the sweet side, but nevertheless, quite good. As for the BBQ chicken, my mother says it's delicious. There are many items you can choose in this restaurant. Prices for food range from $5.75 (short special items up to $14.25 (pla tod lard prik/peppery fish). I have recently eaten in the Thai original BBQ restaurant and must say that I was happy with my food and dining room. I also want to mention that the male waiter looked good. (He fell under the category of large, dark and cute. UPDATE (7/26/2009) I recently went to this restaurant. I must say that I was disappointed, simply because their customer service has gone downhill from the last time I wrote this review. Also the mee krob was a little on the burnt side this time. I'm thinking about seeing her soon. Let's hope they won't disappoint me again. UPDATE (6/11/2010) Before this update, I gave Thai Original BBQ Restaurant a rating of four stars. Since July 2009, however, I visited the restaurant several times and disappointed them twice. I met some kind of wire in my order of the Mee krob. The thought of me or someone who swallowed such a wire was pretty scary. I came to the assumption that this particular wire is probably a wire that had come from any kind of pan/cold scraper. I was grateful that I saw the wire before I robbed the Mee War. However, I questioned how cautious/pure their employees are. Because Thai food is delicious in the Thai Original BBQ Restaurant, I wanted to give them another try, although I didn't want to order anything from the restaurant after the wire experience. Nevertheless, I was hungry and decided to order (ground noodles. I got a very bad amount of food in my exhaust box. Although the food was good, I was disappointed as I knew I deserved more food than the amount that was put in my take-out box."

"I'm at the grandstand grill in cerritos for breakfast. they sounded on 3 different tvs that create chaos. I asked to turn off the sound, server 1 didn't know how and server 2 didn't. I pulled out the cable connection from frustration. server 2 courtesy told me that customers were not allowed to touch the television. I put them in again, but the sound was still on all three. I came on Tuesday, because this is the day when loud anna got out. I know to ask if my hash-browns get extra good to cook them humblely. Today, that didn't work, they were slightly browned on one side and uncooked on the other side. the weizentoast is lower than Dennys with very little fiber, mostly air. service is a bit under standard, as the staff still hangs in the kitchen. coffee, eggs and speck are in order."

"I read the reviews before I went, the good and the bad. To say I was pleasantly surprised by my visit would be an understatement. There is a HUGE variety of dishes to choose from. Even the pickiest person will find something they enjoy. And I definitely enjoyed the food I chose. But.......that's not even the best part!!!!! I was amazed by the hospitality!!!!! The hostess that seated me was very friendly, though I didn't catch her name. A young man helped me with something I needed prior to seeing my waitress, and he did so with a smile on his face. He was so pleasant! Every time I saw him, he just made you smile. My waitress was Crystal....and she was very attentive and provided exactly the level of service I needed. I had let her know in advance that I would be there longer than most people as I had a project I needed to work on. The staff never made me feel rushed or in their way. Crystal was wonderful with the level of service she gives, and she was so pleasant and welcoming to every table I saw her speak to. What a wonderful atmosphere!"

"Hands down the best tofu soup in the area. This place has been here 20+ years and they're not going anywhere. Authentic soft tofu soup with different levels of spice. This spot is a staple in the community. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I always get the soup and bbq combo. My favorite combo is the spicy pork and bean paste spicy soft tofu soup. I highly recommend this place if you want something new to try or you're an avid tofu soup goer and want to put this place to the test. It will not fail, authentic Korean flavors to the max"
