"We had dinner there the other night. The place is right next to the Greek restaurant in the Pueblito Escondido building. Our food was very good. We ordered the antipasto, linguini with seafood and gnocchi with cheese. The antipasto meats and cheese were fresh delicious and there was enough to take half home. The linguini had tons of mussels, shrimp and clams. It was just a little salty. My wife enjoyed the gnocchi.After dinner we enjoyed a walk down to the beach and then back up beautiful 38th street to our condo. It was a great evening. We plan to try lunch soon."

"We stumbled upon Par de Ases (love the name) on a walk west of the highway, as we love walking in the local neighborhoods. Knew nothing about it, but it was our lucky day. Enjoying a late lunch, we had the place to ourselves, and we were treated like royalty by the proprietor and the lovely waitress who served us. Shrimp ceviche and fish fillet a la diabla were both delicious, and an added touch were the beautiful dishes and even heavy, very shiny flatware. Attention to detail at its finest. Prices were reasonable as well. We will definitely return!"

"We visited Romeo with a friend who has lived in Mexico for many years. He is a regular here.We ordered pizza as a starter between three of us. With that and the oil, balsamic and bread when you arrive for me that would have been enough as the pizza was huge and full of flavour!I ordered the tagliolini with shrimp, clams and lobster as a main course. It was amazing and the portions were huge. They served local beers and wine and also had prosecco on the drinks menu too which was a great accompaniment to the pasta dish.We also were offered a free limoncello which was delightful!"
