"We found this place walking in the city centre. The house is beautiful, with high ceiling arches made from traditional volcanic stone. The service was warm and attentive, and the food and wine were excellent I had a pepper steak; it was served with homemade pasta,... delicious! The wine list was extensive, which was a challenge, but the recommendation was very good. My husband had a lasagna with rocoto, it tasted fantastic!"

"I loved the food, especially Tacuyaki de Camarones which is African-Peruvian fusion, and Cauche de Queso which is a very good vegetarian option. It might seem to be overpriced, but the food is really worth it. Not just the quality ingredients, but also the serving....We had the shared plates and everything was excellent. I don’t like seafood, but this was the only place where I could not just eat it, but really enjoy it. And, in addition, the place has a beautiful garden, which is like an escape from the city center. They have actually a part of the garden where they harvest their own plants another plus! The staff was very professional."

"I am Italian, so I appreciate I might be a challenging client for Italian restaurants however I have been fully recommended this place. Usually when I am at Italian restaurants overseas I avoid typical dishes such as pasta and pizza, not to be disappointed. Also a friend of mine recommended me to try a solterito and a adobo, none of them were in the menu. I was reluctant. However the waiter asked the kitchen and they prepared a soltero for me. Proportions were generous but I was still hungry so I ordered a Cordero: this was quite chewy and not particularly tasty and came on a bed of extra-salty ravioli ? . The waiter listened to my concerned and help adding some papaya to make it softer, however I still didn’t like the dish much. Overall the experience was not great for me."

"We went here because of its high TripAdvisor recommendation and weren't disappointed. Best canchita in Arequipa. Everything we've ordered has been great. We've returned several times. I like the ensalada pescadores with its onion rings and shrimp, though the dressing is a bit soggy."
