"Though just a 15minute boat trip from Bantry, it's a place apart. From the moment you step on board the ferry and greeted by Tim, one feels as though your about to go on an adventure. The Ladies in the Bank House (Kathleen and co) are so very friendly and super cooks and bar people serving delicious meals and creamy pints. Highly recommended."

"We were in this restaurant on the advice of our host. the fish soup was excellent as announced. the specialties of the sea are fresh and vegetarian dishes. warm welcome of the owners with whom we have conversed around rugby. We felt at home near the fire. Not to mention local beer, a stomach burn."

"We had the pleasure that the sun shimmered and allowed us to enjoy the view from the outside sitting area. absolutely stunning location. the personal was friendly, efficient and inconspicuous. very clean and felt very safe with regard to Kovid regulations. the food was beautifully presented and...groomed as good as it looked. the weather was actually too warm (not complaining) to have the highly recommended chowder, but we will be back! many thanks for a beautiful unforgettable visit."
