"Took ages for the waiter to seat us , brought bread to the table without asking if we wanted it ,we thought it was complimentary then they charged us for it!! Food was ok , veg tasted like frozen veg, don't feel the meal was worth the money and the fact we weren't acknowledged when we were waiting to be seated despite 3 waiters looking straight at us and it took between 10/15 mins to be seated!! We should have gone elsewhere!!"

"We had a fantastic meal after spending the morning in the beach nearby, based on other reviews we have called the restaurant 1 day in advance to order a specially made paella with some extras and it did not dissapoint! In fact we came for dinner the same day after knowing they were getting a fresh octopus from Villajoyosa (nearby town). Just to be clear, we came for the awesome flavours and great service, if you want to go for a meal with a nice view just find a tourist trap, La Cofradia serves food made with great care and passion. I understood that the reason to book a paella one day in advance is due to the small batch production based on the catch of the day."
