"I’ve eaten the majority of the $18+ pizza venues around Brisbane and these guys are equal to the majority in quality, consistency and service.
It’s a take away pizza (etc. place so the importance of the venue isn’t that high. So my 4 Star is purely on the food and service."

"Best Korean I've ever had! Can't seem to find anything to beat it. Have been here so many times will never stop going. Teriyaki chicken, BBQ squid are my favourite. $5 pancakes are delicious too!"

"The cost listed here is misleading $60 got us enough food for all THREE of us, and we were almost too full to finish the last of it. The sheer deliciousness of it kept us going all the way through. The great thing about authentic Chinese food, and the Spicy Chinese Restaurant is no exception is that you can eat so much, and you will certainly feel full but it's never a logey, sickly fullness. It's always a refreshing and happy sort of fullness. I always leave these restaurants feeling happy and energised.<br/ For those who are curious, the Spicy Chinese Restaurant serves mainly Sichuan cuisine (central China, known for its spicy food). I wanted to take Mum to one of these restaurants so she could experience actual Chinese food (hint: nothing even remotely similar to what you get at the takeaway) and what makes it so great I was worried that the spiciness and sweetness might overpower the natural nutritious value, but it didn't.<br/ <br/ When we went in, the place looked underwhelming as it had just opened, but when the food comes, it's like a party. We got some green tea as soon as the water boiled, as well as some appetisers spicy pickled radish and carrot like a sweet version of kimchi. The service was great, and the staff were friendly even though Chinese restaurant service tends to be more practical you want something, they get it for you. We had five dishes dumplings with hot sauce; spicy chicken; Sichuan eggplant (recommended); a steamed veggies with rice (sounds boring and looks boring but is actually delicious) and a sticky walnut rice cake for dessert (Chinese desserts are not usually sweet, but they grow on you quickly). Those five dishes came to 60 dollars. My girlfriend and I would often go to Italian restaurants, where two dishes a pasta and pizza with drinks, would come to the same amount. And always with those meals, I would come out lethargic from too much salt, sugar and gluten. With this Sichuan restaurant, it feels both delicious and healthy I can eat like a horse, and I feel ready to take on an army. Make sure you ask for a pitcher of water, as you'll probably need it."

"This is our go to korean restaurant. We like all of their side dishes especially the seaweed and the fish cakes. The spicy marinated pork is my personal favourite (not spicy for me but I like the sweet taste).
We ordered the spicy lamb stew for the first time today and it was definitely worth the $18. I would order the lamb stew again next time. It comes with a sauce to dip the meat in and tasted marvelous!"

"I was invited to join Auckland Food Tours for another adventure The purpose of this tour is to showcase that, while we have a lot of Chinese Restaurants they have been (ever so slightly) 'westernised ' and it was explained to me, that while they will have a full menu they actually have a couple of dishes that relate to their locale of origin, that they do REALLY well and that is what you eat when you go to that particular restaurant. This is one of them....<br/ <br/ The Rice Cake Dish<br/ and the<br/ Braised Lions Head in Sweet Soy Sauce<br/ is what you eat here!!<br/ <br/ Perfect premise for me embarking on a foodie outing 'lets go to 5 restaurants for lunch and only eat their best food.... ' !!!!! Enough said. I was not disappointed!!<br/ <br/ The full Journey is on my blog under 'food adventures ' and is part of the context of this review."

"This is my all time favourite Mongolian buffet. I come here super often and the quality has never decreased.<br/ <br/ Service: 8/10<br/ There isn’t much to judge since it’s mostly self serve. I asked for the hot pot and the waiter quickly brought me a stove. The people who cooked the food were also enthusiastic and everyone seemed very cheerful.<br/ <br/ Food: 9/10<br/ The BBQ has a a lot of different choices and a lot of different sauces for you to try out. The hotpot is also delicious as you can choose what you want. There aren’t a lot of hot foods and they were pretty average. The fruit seemed quite fresh and they often refilled them.<br/ <br/ Ambiance: 8/10<br/ There aren’t a lot of decorations but the buffet was organised into sections so you could easily find what you wanted.<br/ It’s a little dark inside making the fires at the grill look more enticing."

"Food ordered:<br/ Tom Kha Seafood<br/ Fresh Ginger Pork<br/ Garlic Pepper Chunk Squid<br/ Mix Entree<br/ <br/ Bill: $34.50<br/ <br/ Big tummy: Another one for the 'How did it take us so long to find this place?? ' files. It 's a bit of a mission finding decent seafood chowder/soup on the North Shore seriously... if you know of a place, drop me a recommendation in the comments below), but the Tom Kha seafood soup at Khun Pui would be one of the better finds I 've made. The flavour was zesty and packed a punch without being too spicy. The amount of seafood was reasonable for the price too, with the dish including 1x prawn, 2x mussels and 3 4x pieces of calamari. <br/ As for the entrees, the garlic pepper squid was seasoned and cooked well enough served with sweet sour sauce to boot) buuut I did feel that they were a bit on the small side. They really are chunks of squid which is stated on the menu, so you can 't really fault them for it I guess). Since this was our first time to KPTF, we decided to give the mix entree a crack, so we could try out a few different items. The spring roll, curry puff and chicken toast were a bit 'meh ' I found myself dipping the chicken toast and spring roll in my soup to add a bit more flavour. But the chicken satay and accompanying sauce was just sublime I wish we had ordered more. <br/ All in all, I 'd definitely come back to KPTF just for the Tom Kha and chicken satays.<br/ <br/ Little tummy: I 'd been craving Thai or Malaysian cuisine and my bf has been on a bit of a health kick, so we found ourselves looking for a new Thai/Malay establishment which lead us to Khun Pai. I chose the ginger pork on rice 'soooo Asian ' Big tummy) for myself and we shared the entrees. The highlight for me was easily the pork it had a nice flavour to it and was, for the most part, cooked well there was one piece that was overcooked to the point of it being impossible to chew through, as if it 'd been stuck to the bottom of the pan). The pepper squid, chicken satay toast and curry puff also got the thumbs up from me, along with the seafood soup I managed to sneak a few spoonfuls while my bf was busy with the entrees). The only thing I wasn 't a big fan of was the spring roll but I have kinda high standards for spring rolls, since I make my own homemade ones. I 'd be happy to come back and try their other dishes though."
