"Genuinely fantastic food after a good walk from Tintagel. My favorite will have to be the sashimi sea bream which was blow torched. The texture and flavor is spot on. As someone who is extremely picky with sashimi, I would not hesitate to order it again. The porthilly oyster, scallops, and mackerel are also excellent. The seaweed butter on the scallops is pure crack. I had a side of cabbage, which I relentlessly dipped in the seaweed butter. This is my first time having porthilly oysters, and I found the briny sweetness absolutely wonderful. It did not have the strong sea flavor that some usually find off putting about oysters a testament to the freshness. I 'm a huge fan of mackerel, and I loved every last bit of the crisp skin soaked in the tangy sauce that it came with. The flavors for all the dishes are certainly on point"

"Family dinner. Lovely view of the bridge and river. Welcoming service. Most tables are the riverside naturally, at first we thought it looked quite empty from the street side. Food was very good: fish trio, crab salad, smoked salmon and prawn curry. Desserts were great too. Would recommend. If new to Boscastle, lovely town to visit. Service: 5 Location: 5"
