"The dining experience at Belthazar was an amazing dining experience. My wife and I were blown away at the presentation, service, family atmosphere, and taste of the food. Our servers Cole and Xavier were absolutely the nicest and friendliest servers we have ever had. I the honor and pleasure of meeting and having a conversation with the General Manager and Owner and what a wonderful conversation I had with the 2 of them. I know I am rambling at this point but what an awesome and amazing restaurant. The food was to die for. Fresh local seafood, fresh local.made desert the Malva Pudding) OMG blew me away. I had to go back on the night before I left Cape Town to get another slice. If you ever visit Cape Town, Belthazar Restuarant should be your first place you dine."

"This is just a pickup shop in the food dish at the victoria and alfred waterfront, but it still has some of the best seafood we had at our visit to South Africa.<br br/> my wife was not sure what to order, and the staff was very friendly and helpful to suggest a local fish from the menu. <br br/>Sitting outside in the magnificent autumn weather we enjoy the view of the lively waterfront and the amazing children's playground."

"I have always driven and walked past Sotano but never been! So today I was happy to finally arrive when I had a meeting here! There were 3 of us and we had 6 tapas to share -short rib beef, delicious -pork belly which was exquisite and my favorite -calamari, really tasty -halloumi which was so tasty and had been char grilled a bit -sirloin steak, also delicious and the mustard sauce with it was amazing -lamb koftas, good All in all I had a really fantastic lunch, the vibe and setting was great, service good, bit on the slow side, and I will be back!"

"Other than obnoxiously loud music and very slow service it was great. The food was good with a decent variety to choose from, curry, seafood, steaks and even sushi. Our table tried all of the items and there were no complaints. Everyone was happy with the quanity and quality of the food. The outside seating is very nice."

"Restaurant is well decorated, great location and nice ambience. Food at this particular ocean basket is a cut above the rest in my opinion, I have yet to be disappointed by any dish I have ordered here. Calamari 3 ways being my favorite. Service has always been quick at this branch."
