"Ocean Fish bar was always my choice for fish and chips in Leighton for probably the last years and I would always rave about it, but then it changed hands to new owners and now I am left very frustrated that I go elsewhere...now. The previous owners had managing the place down to an art form and the food was mega good, they knew how to manage the queues to ensure everyone got what they wanted without any fuss and in a timely manner. There was a handover period with the new owners, but last few visits I have been, the queues are longer, and not managed well to the point I waited minutes for battered sausage and chips and then got told they hadnt cooked my order and I had to wait another minutes. Don't get me wrong I know everyone has to start somewhere and learn the trade, but even after some transitional period the situation hasn't changed. Fish and chips should be a quick process of order, wait for the cook, and then out, not minutes, with the original owners the queues were there because their food was in high demand, now the queues are there (in my opinion) because the process isn't. On the good points, the new owners have kept the great quality of food and value I enjoyed for years, and if the wait is okay with you then this is the place to go. Food stars Waiting times star."

"The food was delicious, as a vegetarian i enjoyed it immensely,the customer service was exceptional, the person dealing with my request went out of their way to call me back with alternative suggestions after what I was going to order was unavailable, would highly recommend this restaurant and would give10 stars if possible. "Went for the first time with friends I hadn't seen since before covid, so was really looking forward to it. Not many staff on and the ones there had no clue what to do. Very busy. Ordered starters and drinks which arrived. After starters waited at least an hour for main course. Food was nice when it arrived, although one meal had to to be sent back as it wasn't cooked, and meat was raw. They forgot to bring our second round of drinks. Coffee was absolutely appalling. Won't be visiting again"

"Restaurant serves a new lager. Very smooth. On the food side, I know each chef has his own methods and the same dish can be different at different restaurants. The chicken madras I had here was totally different from what I'm used to. Not sure i like the difference. Curry sauce was like a soup almost as if it had been blended, the same as my friends vindaloo. Service: Dine in"

"The environment and the ambiente is really beautiful. eating is good, but it is not presented so beautifully. we chose the deenpate as the deer that is quite boring. for our head we had the bark and the lamb. Both nets were nice, but as I mentioned, it only needs a small lift with presentation. for the gloomy I had the heavenly cheesecake with raspberry cook and it was pleasant. one thing I have to warn them when they choose the club, drinks are very expensive!"
