"My wife and I longed for some some authentic Thai, having arrived for our sons wedding tomorrow we hosted our boys to dinner. This was a very poor dinner, I won't waste too much time noting the shortcomings but briefly;the first entree selected -rice paper roll, were 6.90 each. We ordered two serves and each entree received a 1 inch piece of entree, that was tasteless, almost 3.50 a piece, you're kidding!Satay we're ok but at $2 each we're miniscule...Paid Thai was the worst I've attempted to eat, duck curry was ok and massaman was ok. Very small portions.I'm sorry local folks, this restaurant is exploiting a great culture for tasteless food at exploited price. My son had always wanted to try this restaurant and as his last night at a bachelor we'd treated him, what a mistake. This restaurant is for show only, small meals, tasteless and overpriced. Of all the Thai options, One to miss."

"Modern European/Australian cafe-bistro-restaurant. Smart decor with a large covered outside dining area. Extensive and innovative menu, all day breakfast, lunch and dinner with daily specials board. Licensed (good wine list) and BYO. Prices are reasonable and the value is very good. The food is all freshly cooked and nicely presented. The Lamb Wellington and the Seafood Pie are excellent as are the pizzas and pasta dishes. Great salads and lovely desserts. The owner Michael knows how to look after his customers, with attentive staff who actually keep an eye on the tables and the service is prompt, professional and friendly. It's a local favourite for us and a great place to go pre or post catching a film at the nearby Cremorne Orpheum. One of the best restaurants in the area."

"After studying the menus of a number of local establishments we selected dinner here after the movies. We managed to get the last table! Why is this place so busy? Because it offers good food at great value. It provides all the ingredients of a good night out without you questioning the cost. Recommend, but go early to get a seat."

"Favourite spot for weekend lunch. Nothing pretentious, just really good beautifully cooked food Steve does the best seafood and mixed tempura along with a wide menu of typical Japanese dishes, including great value for money lunch boxes. Beer, wine, sake available or bring your own...for a minimal fee. Inside or outside tables. Great service. Will be back again and again."

"Beautiful meal, good service. I recommend the prawns here we had the prawn laksa as well as the salt and pepper prawns. Both dishes were delicious, evidently made with very fresh large prawns. We also enjoyed the deep fried ice cream at the end as a throwback to our childhood. It is a Chinese restaurant with a nostalgic feel to it, as if you have entered a time warp 20 years ago with some dated decor. This atmosphere makes it all the more authentic and true to style, it serves tasty authentic Chinese cuisine."
