"We arrived in Duino and this was the only restaurant open. The locals didn't seem to recommend it either. On arrival, it is a bit of a strange place in terms of decor but we instantly hit a rapport with the waiter, who was very good fun throughout. The food was delicious, beer was very good and so too the wine. I cannot believe how little the bill was either. Overall, excellent food and value for money. Don't listen to the locals and don't let the decor fool you!"

"Went here with friends for dinner Sunday. We arrived by boat,but was told you can also walk down from the street above. Situated in a little port it is very picturesque and feels like stepping back in time and dining in a fisherman's hut.. The food was excellent,and the portions were large..we got the mixed fried fish platter and couldn't finish it! I suggest you get there early as the kitchen closes at 8:00 PM. Will definitly be going again!"
