"Here during the very busy Blues Festival, so every venue is busy and packed. However, this place and the wonderful staff seemed to manage better than most. All staff were very friendly and efficient, the food was terrific and the value was fantastic. We returned at lunch time on Sunday and with the sun streaming in the windows you wouldn't have guessed there were '00's there the previous evening."

"Fish in a Flash is regarded by The Age and the Herald Sun as the best regional fish n chippery in Victoria.And rightfully so.Recently my wife and I dropped into this chippery and decided to give it a go.Not realising it was in high regard.I must say the menu choices are of the typical fish n chip shop. But we decided to go the fisherman's basket for 2 at a reasonable price tag of $20.We were definitely not disappointed.The fish was well battered and cooked nicely.The highlight is the best battered prawns.Battered beautifully, a nice n creamy and not overcooked at all on the inside.Only downside was some bits were a tad bit oilyOverall experience here is a good one.Comes with a 4.5 out of 5 from me."

"Disappointing to arrive at this place at 8:30pm to be told they were closing on a Friday night. The website says 9:00pm. Even worse was the obvious joy that the shop attendant had in telling us. Rude and below standard."

"We were taken to Fish Bites by friends and were very surprised by the quality. Never before have I been asked how I would like my salmon cooked. At medium rare it was absolutely perfectly. We are returning right now forca second visit. Thanks Fish Bite."
