"Unfortunately, the attention from the kitchen came on time with the main course, which unfortunately came with 4 people also with 5 minutes 2 2 time loss. The noodle dish was totally salted. The Isol was always a good Italian, but after my last visit before approx. 1 year I was completely disappointed"

"We had Alaskan sea bass, shrimps and another kind of fish. The preparation was excellent, the service was quick and the ambience was friendly. The prices were really moderate, quite a surprise. Overall a great experience."

"I enjoyed a nice meal out on a warm evening in May. The food was good (although my portion was a little on the small side) and the garden is really lovely. It doesn't at all feel like it is next to a main road....Luckily we were in no rush when we we went as there were long periods where we didn't see a waiter anywhere around. The table next to us had to wait a long time for a second drink and then again quite some time in order to pay their bill. I would return if the weather is nice and I was looking for a slow relaxed evening."

"Nice , calm place to visit for a casual meal. You can sit outside on the sidewalk, kick back and observe life in this interesting Frankfurt neighborhood. Service was a bit slow but friendly. We were not hungry and did not eat much, a few tapas. The food and the wine were tasty, inexpensive."

"Every month ending with an "R" offers mussels on the menu and so I take my lady to one several times a month. La Traviata is a wonderful Italian family restaurant in Sachsenhausen and serves very good mussels in a white wine sauce. It is not the best but it is good and the atmosphere makes up for the rating. The staff and owner are very gracious and accommodating and makes a visit worthwhile."

"I recently had a quick business lunch here and really enjoyed the food. We did not have a lot of time but the service was prompt and the food was excellent. I had a shrimp salad and found it be excellent. Fresh greens, perfectly grilled...shrimp and the right portion size. The location on the water was also nice. Service was a bit abrupt but that may have been due to language/translation issues on both sides."
