"We wanted to celebrate with friends and had the best time at Il Vero. They gave us an amazing table in front of the “jet d’eau”, it is the best terrace in town. The food was delicious, we tried a selection of starters, all the Italian classics were a hit! Mains were as great as starters, generous plates and amazing Italian flavors! We had an amazing moment and hope to come back very soon!"

"Allez, que diriez-vous d’une paella.. !! C’est à peu près ce que nous a dit un de nos amis. Ni une ni deux il nous emmène déjeuner par cette belle journée de juillet au Ruedo. Niché à l’orée du quartier chaud des Pâquis, c'est un restaurant typique, bien dans son jus, où le temps semble s'être arrêté il y a quelques décennies déjà.Ce charme désuet vous met tout de suite à l’aise, presque autant que la patronne qui en salle (et en terrasse) joue à merveille le chef d’orchestre pour une partition sans faute. En cuisine c’est son mari qui fait chauffer le piano avec c’est vrai une certaine maitrise des cuissons.Bon mais alors cette paella elle est comment... ??Affichée au plat du jour pour une vingtaine de francs (tous les vendredis) elle était gouteuse, le riz parfaitement cuit ne donnait pas cette impression de lourdeur que l’on retrouve souvent ailleurs. La garniture de fruits de mer était suffisante en choix et en quantité. Comme nous sommes des gourmands, nous l’avons agrémenté avec des crevettes à l’ail, du poulpe à la Galicienne et enfin des calamarettis grillés qui se sont avérés être une vraie tuerie (je vous les conseille vraiment).La fraicheur de la marée était au rendez-vous et les saveurs nous on fait pour un temps en tout cas, voyager chez les Ibères.Bon vous l’aurez compris, moi j'ai adoré. Alors si vous aussi, vous voulez vivre un moment de dépaysement tout en vous régalant d’une cuisine gouteuse, c’est surement une des très bonnes adresses Espagnoles de la ville."

"We walk in with a reservation to a muted welcome from a waitress in a tracksuit. The restaurant is not full the whole time we are there, making us think perhaps a reservation was not required after all. The appetiser is extremely salty and heavy handed with sesame oil. The foie gras is the best experience of the night. The ravioli dish had some surprising touches. The main is smothered in a very unappetitising brown sauce. Although dessert is included in our banquet, we're charged extra for cafe gourmand. The wine is very good. Tables are spacious, and I liked the candles and chandeliers. We have tried to get to this restaurant a couple of times before albeit unsuccessfully, and this satisfies our curiosity. Don't think the Michelin guide got this one right though."

"Nice ambiente for lunch was eating really good, although a bit expensive. all employees are students of ecole hoteliere so they would expect a good service, but that was not the case. the menu is already limited and yet they had some items run out, even some mineral waters were not available. but the real problem was that it was really slow and completely unorganized that ruined the experience will not go back. at this price level there are many restaurants in the opposite of genf with high quality food and excellent service."

"Dined at le Jardin on a Saturday evening, the restaurant was fully booked. We chose the menu with truffles, 4 course of pure delight. Each course was very well presented and with great flavor. The wine we chose was a local Swiss red that complimented the dishes perfectly. They have valet parking, which is necessary, as it gets so busy and difficult to park anywhere close to the hotel. The only down side was the waiting time for drink, to be served, etc..possibly short staffed as there was only 2 waiters (Saturday night!). Apart from that, it was an excellent evening with some truly flavorsome dishes. Not cheap 300 CHF for 2 incl. wine."

"For 200 CHF per person with 2 dishes and 2 glasses of wine, this is unacceptable. If most of the servers were competent and friendly, a waitress in a colorful purple outfit (or frame?? was unpleasant and unsmiling. The fish that we tasted as a starter and as a main course (caught sea bass , were very average, for a so-called Michelin star. We will not return there."
