"HIGHLY RECOMMEND... We learned during our visit (recommended by a friend) that Patty and Randy have owned this little gem for 25 years and the food is some of the best we have have ever had. Everything was fresh and very tasty. The steak was an excellent cut of meat and Randy cooked it perfectly. It really was mouth watering. The Scampi was also delicious. Patty makes the corn chowder (which comes with the meal) and we literally ate every drop, it was so perfectly prepared. Salad (also included in the meal) that was cold and crispy and yummy. And the drinks were great too. And although short staffed post-pandemic, they managed (with the help of their amazing waitress) to pull off a truly wonderful meal. We will definitely be back."

"This has become my favorite place to eat. Service has been wonderful, staff been friendly and attentive every time I have been there. Food portions large and filling. Breakfast on Sunday is awesome. I admit I haven’t been much in last six weeks, just waiting for covid numbers to go down, but I drool over the nightly updates for the specials. Be back soon. Don’t pass up an opportunity to try this place."

"We had amazing service, and the best fish EVER. We both had the rockfish and it amazed! Our little grandson (7 months) shared my gumbo and he loved it. This is our favorite place for a date, just a great experience. Thanks so much"

"This is one of the many iconic pull off the road eateries dotting the state of CT. The Heibeck's have been running this stand since the thirties and it shows in the consistency and longevity this roadside stand displays year in and year out. You will find ur standard grease spot fare w/burgers n dogs as well as a plethora of fried dishes. They also have an interesting selection of tacos which I will be reviewing on my next visit along w/the ice cream which I hope is as good as I remember it being. As for what I did have the chicken tenders are phenomenal! Great crispness to them and the breading has real flavor. As for the fries...slightly overrated due to being way too SALTY! But other than that a nice meal out in the back patio is a win win win during the summer days! Def worth it!"
