"We showed up around 10:00 on a Saturday, after finding everything was closed in Vierville Sur Mer. Even though they were on the verge of closing as well, they made us a couple of pizzas to go, which were delicious. Oddly to me, almost all their pizzas come with black olives, which I don't care for, but there were only a few and they were large pieces, easy to pick off. This restaurant was also able to bottle their house wine for us to take to go. Very friendly staff and if you ate on the terrace, you would have a great view of the boats in the harbor."

"Right on the beach front, with a quiet road between you and Omaha beach (or part thereof), if you time it right you can sit and watch the parade of D-Day military vehicles pass you by. This time we were just there for lunch after visiting the Ranger Museum. Sat on the veranda as it was a nice day, and had a lovely lunch accompanied by some local cider. Lovely lunch, good variety of dishes available, and the chocolate mousse was awesome. Good service and good value for money. Has won a recommendation by le Routard for many years in a row, which has always served us well when visiting a restaurant when you can't get online to check Tripadvisor."
