"The service was ok, although there was one waitress who was pretty sarcastic to us if we asked for anything although I am sure it was her attempt at being funny, but we felt like we were at Karen's diner. The food was terrible. The veal saltimbocca at $43 was the worst meal Ive ever seen, covered in separated lumpy cream sauce. The pasta with seafood was passable but scallops were not cooked and all I could taste was garlic and oil. Very basic and not very good. The pizza was ok but they had to cook two small pizzas as we ordered one large and they got it wrong. We wont be back. The food was very ordinary for the price. Far better places to eat than this one."

"Better than expected I .... Better than expected<br/>I was hesitant about trying sushi revolution because I did read negative reviews here. However, after walking up and down beaumont street and perusing all the other offerings, aesthetically this place was the clear winner. Unlike others, I found the staff is lovely and helpful. The food was yummy but the music is too loud. Overall I enjoyed it and would reccomend it."

"My first impression..... Behind the bar the gentleman was lovely and organised a table and then it was down hill. Staff member was asked to set up table and the table was set up with a scrunched up table cloth and dirty. In fact every table cloth was scrunched up and dirty. May I suggest you just don't put down table cloths. Within 5 minutes of being there we left. I thought if presentation was not important they may also not take pride in food preparation nor cleanliness. I hope all improves. First impression is a lasting impression."

"Having reserved a table for 6.30pm the Saturday night before Mothers Day you would think we would be in for a lovely evening.As regular patrons of SJs we have watched the eating area evolve into a very pleasant place. For young and old or family meals. We have spent several birthdays here and enjoyed them.When we witnessed a very noisy drinking game (boat race) between 2 local football club complete in their red and the other green jersey we should have known to turn around. I was shocked to see a bar man walk up to the table of standing opposite teams ... and deliver them 4 beers to add to the existing 4-5 they had lined up. We proceeded to see most of the front bar, stop and watch and take photos as they raced to skull their beers. Responsible service? I think not.It was with great dismay that this Saturday night when we took my partners mother, who'd been at work since 8am to an early Mother's Day dinner ... we were served substandard food 2hours after ordering.We watched other tables around us also wait 1.5-2.5hours with young children ... not be served.My partners pork cutlet arrived warm, his mothers lamb cutlets where from 2 different batches (one pink inside the other over cooked, obviously 2 different shades) the serve of vegetables and mash was dismal. 8 mins later (enough for me to go to the bar to get 2 beers and 2 mixed drinks at busy 8.15 on a Saturday night) my pasta arrived ... which although full of fresh seafood was splashed into the plate and was flavourless except for a dusting of chilli.We were so hungry and shocked we did not ask for refunds as several tables around us did.I still cannot believe this is the same place we took friends for dinner not so long ago. The chef and kitchen staff have never been so disorganised. Unbelievable.The only thing great was the lovely young girl who has been there for a week. How she was still fresh and polite I have no idea.This was a reliable go to venue for a decent meal and good service. Incredibly disappointed. Not sure if we will give them benefit of the doubt and try again.If this is new chef and kitchen staff ... then you truly need to lift your game."

"Visited sniddys at hamilton station hotel in islington nsw with friends and was excellent from the start. on a Friday night a table was easy for a nice simple meal with friends. enlivened space with rugby league on large screen, but it area. well for diners. table service from the personal was excellent and meal value for money along with service at the bar. we make all employees.... come to all."

"Came here for dinner on a Sunday night whilst in town. I ordered a burger which was the most delicious thing. The other people I was with ordered a steak and parmy. Meals were amazing and came out so quick. Loved the atmosphere and look of the place. Staff were extremely friendly also. I would HIGHLY recommend this place"
