"A beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Daylesford. Situated on the main street it's in a great spot for a mini-break full of no-rush meandering. Each room in Frangos Frangos has its own theme and our room certainly impressed. The room was spotless, and not sure about you, but I always suss out the bathroom, ours had plenty of fluffy towels, a good variety of toiletries, and bathrobes. Woo! On our stay we received two complimentary drink vouchers, two complementary breakfasts, choice of morning paper and off street parking. Pretty generous. In Daylesford for some papering? There is an endota spa right behing the hotel. Convenient much?! Also within the hotel there's a cafe, bar and restaurant. Sitting under the beautiful vines in the outdoor courtyard you could be anywhere."

"This is a wonderful restaurant. It is an old house and has a nice atmosphere, especially on a wintery night with the fire going. The food was nicely varied and of a high standard. We particularly enjoyed talking with one of the waitresses who is studying teaching. The maitre de is a cool customer but very professional.. we were recommended to go to Mercato by friends and I would certainly pass on a similar recommendation. It is special."

"I had lovely bangers and mash like to just like a home cooked meal very reasonable for 16 bucks my mum had fish and chips it was so big she couldn't eat it all lovely glass of wine warm fire great pub meal all freshly cooked and home-made not out of a packet"

"So glad we found this place. Had an amazingly yummy lunch and good value for money. My only issue was the lack of railing on the stairs up to the bathroom which caused my elderly grandfather some issues. All in all a great feed!!"

"On Sunday for lunch. not our first time here and not our last. it is such a great little, cozy place to get really fresh and good quality noodles. we had a serving of chicken and celery dumplings, not a combination they would normally think of, but I really liked them very much. Once you dive into the mouth, it's hard to stop. also love the selection of tee, we enjoyed a pot of king hsuan elongated tees. very nice. thanks for not being hungry anymore!"

"Superb saganaki, great service. The duck breast was cooked to perfection, the swimmer crab lip smackingly good. Don’t miss the rib eye! Never been a fan of kale but the salad was most delicious. Hope to return before too long. Thank you team."

"Our food was very good. My steak was cooked beautifully. My sis's pasta was delicious although we would have expected more than just two prawns (even though they were large) for a seafood linguini and certainly did expect more pasta really needed to be twice the amount that was served. This was a set price for the lunch (or dinner) so I do not think you would get bigger meals for dinner. It was lacking in size."
