"My fave! I love Thai food and I would easily say this is the best I've had. Lovely setting too. I wouldn't go anywhere else! The chicken cashew stirfry is tasty and the seafood one is great too, loaded with interesting yummy things"

"I love this cafe. The coffee is very good. I have only tried the cabinet and found it delicious. It is my place to go for some peace and quiet. I love sitting outside in the plaza area."

"Amazing food. Good Service. I love how the food taste authentic and fresh. We ordered seafood and it was worth the wait. The portion is big to share. The atmosphere, it could do a bit of updating but overall Its a good comfort food restaurant and would definitely recommend and go back again.<br/"

"This review relates to the Baan Thai in Dining Lane, Bryce Street, Hamilton. Not the branch down the road in Victoria Street. The former is not in Menu Mania yet.<br/ <br/ Food was excellent (probably five stars). Service was very good. The restaurant was new and the atmosphere very good. Will definitely go again.<br/ <br/ One comment though. I had a deal voucher that excluded certain things e.g. seafood. Also the voucher only allowed for 'House ' wine and beer. They were aware that we had this voucher. We didn 't read the fine print and ordered a seafood dish and non house drinks that I had to pay for at the end. Now I take FULL responsibility for this and did so when paying (without fuss). However, I think the restaurant has some moral obligation to remind the consumer if they are not keeping in the terms and conditions of the voucher. The did not do this, and a cynical view would be the reaped the financial reward as a result. What do you think?"

"Simple casual dining. The food was great. Noodles were perfect. One of the best Udon i’ve ever had. Definitely my favorite. Selections are pretty limited, but other than that its a great place for dining."

"Amazing fish chips! Not oily at all. Had one of each fish (Snapper, Gurnard, Tarakihi and Hoki) as well as a scoop of kumara and normal chips. Very very yummy Usually go all the way to raglan for fish and chips but this one is WAY better (less oily and tastier) and just 5 mins away from our house! The owners are also really friendly, had a yarn with them and my parents in cantonese! I'd maybe suggest bringing your own sauce... But they do sell sauce but I'm a cheapo"
