"Came to eat in the dining room and watch hockey in the sports bar after. We were seated next to the window with a great view of Patricia Street and beyond. I had little appetite so chose French onion soup, a personal fave. Spouse ordered a stir fry and I had some white wine on the side. Spouse LOVED his stir fry. My French onion soup was incredibly bad. The broth was greasy and oversalted, with slimy bits of onion under a huge dollop of largely tasteless cheese (mozza maybe? . With trepidation I prodded the crouton or baguette within with my spoon, and noted it looked and yielded like a dish sponge. Undaunted, I took a bite and then another just to be sure it was *all* like that. The dish sponge comparison held up throughout. I limited the remainder of the experience to a few spoonsful of melted cheese, and then stuck to my wine thereafter. Server did not come by to ask how we liked our meals, but then again she hadn 't noticed when I put the dirty knife that had greeted me when I sat down, far to the other side of the table. No matter I didn 't need it for soup, right? She also said nothing when clearing my little touched meal, which I found even more astonishing than the soup itself. Oh, well, I said to my spouse, I don 't want her to have a bad night. As it was she had her hands full with a flirtatious customer hanging around her station for much of our meal. I make French onion soup at home all the time, by the way. I 'm no great chef, but even on my first go it was orders of magnitude better than the one I had here. Fortunately for all, the sports bar was swell, with three huge screens allowing us to track two hockey games, and a cocktail special that tasted like cinnamon hearts and washed away the dish sponge onion salt aftertaste."

"Overrated, overcooked and customer service awful. Came to Canada for two week holiday/vacation and have to say this has/was the worst meal we had whilst here. I had the Bison Burger, which I asked for medium but was told by waitress they could not accommodate but the later the manager, when asked, stated it was fine to do. Anyway, meal arrived and my burger was WELL DONE, my wife also had Beef burger which was well done. Kids had pasta which they left as over cooked pasta and fatty meat. Look else where, they said they were busy!. Take a look at the photo..... give this place a miss unless u like well done meat!"

"Probably one of the worse experiences waited 10minutes to be seated was only seated after and would be quick the place was empty but was told they had reservations 90minutes later the restaurant was still empty). The server seemed puzzled most of the evening my soup was a little cool taste was average at best. Had the lamb shank was obviously reheated as it was cool in the middle their was a it was in a flavourless liquid?.. dessert I had the creme brûlée thinking how could they screw it up ... they did sugar wasn't melted so got a mouthful of low grade white sugar. The server alerted the manager offered an apology only after a long discussion with I guess the chef s they stared at us from afar. One of the worse meals I've had in 50 years!!! Oh they gave me 10% off WOW. I will say the front desk staff were very friendly and professional"

"Okay, so I'll write a long review just because the ordeal I've been through in Northface Pizza was the most disgusting and terrible experience I've experienced tonight. So, as it happened that I went to this store and ordered... two big pizzas and after a while I came to the store to collect my pizza and wait on the counter for my pizza and suddenly and unexpectedly did not yell out so Lord me at f# and to my total unbelief I asked him what you said and guy says you don't get pizza from me. I asked for the reason, and the guy tells me that you shouldn't stand there, because it doesn't read signs, but my mistake that I didn't read the sign. That was my only fault. After I heard all these insulting words, I asked him to repay my money, and the guy says you don't even get your money back and get the f#! I lost it and finally had to call the cops. And police had to talk to the owner to pay back the money. And only the readers know that the guy who abused us was the owner of the shop. Well, what I am very surprised is that if you don't have the temperament or basic reason to talk to people, then you should not be on the business of the service of people. It was completely shamed that the guy was acting like that and what was more horrific that wasn't even apologetic. The guy was racist not based manners and was absolutely unprofessional. If this guy had treated a white man like that, they would have torn him up, but he had chances that we were immigrants from another country."

"Basically, I am not a breakfast person. But if you get a breakfast like the one at Sunhouse Cafe, you will definitely turn in a breakfast person ????.. very pleasing and warm ambience... There dome shaped roof makes it live and bright. Helpful and friendlystaff with ???????????? yummy and nourishing food.. Keep Sunhouse Cafe on your itinerary for your next trip to Jasper????????.."

"We stayed at the cabins, and decided to eat breakfast here on our last day, before heading down the Icefields Parkway. We noticed the restaurant was usually full, and there was usually a bus tour visiting. We had breakfast after the bus tour had cleared out. They only offered the $15 buffet, which was quite good.There were lots of options, such as fruit, sliced meats, cheese, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, waffles, yogurt, cereal, toast, muffins, etc. Drinks were not included in the $15. It was a good meal, to start the long day off right."

"Great little coffee and light food Cafe in the main lodge. Seating available, but recommend you take food out to lawn with Adirondack chairs overlooking mtns and lodge lake. Disappointed the cafe closes at 5 pm."
