"Market Bistro aims to source locally. They have a great menu that changes seasonally. A great wine selection and full cocktail menu. Attentive staff that makes you feel like you are the only patrons they are serving. The chef is a master from grilling a lobster to a NY Strip Steak with red wine jus. Adam the owner stopped by and made us feel like home at our last visit. Glad we didn't commute to the city for a nice dinner. Better than Opus if you ask me."

"Celebrated family member birthday dinner. the waiter who served was excellent, informative, but not to his fault he was obviously working other tables and the establishment is understaffed. we were a party of nine persons, and were served dinner main course two hours after we were seated. the food was good, but waiting so long was unfortunate. The restaurant is very big and obviously very popular but being way understaffed with waiters and chefs they have lost their personal touch and are no longer im my perspective a 5 star restaurant."

"We always wanted to try Portuguese food but there is none close to where we live. After did some research, we found this restaurant and decided to give it a try when we needed to run some errands at Long Island. Well, it?s definitely a good decision. Food is absolutely delicious with generous portion. Service is excellent too, the owner and his staff are so friendly, he even offered us some sweet wine to taste. We can?t wait to go back to try other dishes!"

"We have lunch a few times per month and the help yourself salad bar is a very varied , interesting choice of items when chosen carefully can be very reasonable . Being by the pound , your lunch can vary greatly in price but nowhere else can you get this type of variety . If you are looking at serious seafood or butcher items , bring a suitcase full of money or a lot of plastic ."

"The Milleridge Inn is still open for business, and I recently came back here for a bridal shower in one of their party rooms upstairs at the Inn. It was pretty wild to be back here when it's not the holidays, but it still has a lovely charm and coziness to it that other establishments can't even achieve.The staff is always super helpful, friendly, and professional. The head hostess led us to the elevator or the stairs that took us up to the party room. I've never been to the upstairs before, and it's absolutely awesome! The history and feel to it is what makes this place so damn special. Take time to look at the pictures and history on the walls; you won't regret it. The space was bright, newly painted (at least so it seemed , and cheerful. The bride-to-be was in route to the shower, so since the party started at 12 noon, we wasted no time getting our bloody maries and mimosas, and our salads were served as well. There were four tables set for ten guests, so there was plenty of spacing and room to admire the room from all angles. For the main course, our choices were a grilled steak, the Milleridge chicken, grilled salmon, or eggplant rollitini. Every time I come here, I always end up with something other than the Milleridge chicken, and I made sure to get it this time. The brown gravy with mushrooms reminded me of a marsala sauce, and I was thrilled! The chicken was a deep fried spin on cordon bleu, and it was good to the last bite! Accompanied with mashed potatoes and string beans, this was a total winner winner, chicken dinner (had to do it! in my book!The cake for the bride was a carrot cake, which was absolutely to die for, and really was a great surprise that wasn't your typical standard vanilla or chocolate cake. Guests and bride-to-be were all very pleased and I would absolutely make it an appoint to come here off season!"
