"La Taverne du Belvedere is wonderful. It has delicious, unpredictable meals for all palates. Its wines (from the much inherited and adjacent La Tourbeille vineyard) are lush and cost-effective. The staff is friendly and efficient. And the view from the large terrace is unsurpassed: high above the surrounding landscape, you can see the full width of the Dordogne and the valley spread out below. We were a party of ten to stay in the region for a week, and we dined in the tavern on three separate evenings! We've never been anything but enthusiastic. Make sure to check this place! You'll love it!"
