"This pub has recently been taken over by new management, which means they finally have a vegan menu! it is so usually only come for drinks so I am above the moon that they have introduced a vegan menu! I had the ratatouille and filled paprika, which was delicious, also had a side of chips as they are some of my favorite chips! so pleased, was delicious and the interieur is cozy!"

"I moved away from Longfield a few years ago, but had always wished that there had been a genuine and decent Mediterranean restaurant nearby. I visited family last week and was really excited to hear that Efsane had opened in Longfield! Fantastic, a slice of holiday atmosphere close to home (or what used to be). We booked for a Saturday night, and perhaps that was our mistake. Well, the service was great and the food was amazing, if quite pricey (esp ' the drinks) but what knocked us immediately was that the ambience and aim of the place appears to be all out night club. The authentic Turkish element that we 'd hoped for was glaringly absent, aside from a few dishes on the menu that were the real deal, and the beer Efes behind the bar. It was a night club with food. I now understand that Efsane is obviously targeting a very, very different sort of audience to any other eateries locally, and indeed the 'vibe ' was that of somewhere sleek and expensive in the city where people gather prior to going 'out out ' clubbing etc. To be honest as a 43 year old, I felt genuinely out of my comfort zone and rather ancient and geriatric! Next time I visit a takeaway might be the way forward. The constant stream of clubbing music was way too loud, we couldn 't speak to each other, let alone understand any sort of guessed reply. Not suggesting that there should be live Baglamas or saz playing or anything (although that 'd be awesome), but the Med ' element was just not there and that 's why we came. Flipping good food though."
