"Ate here a couple of times now, i think i already wrote a review. <br/ <br/ Best place to eat around panmure, cooked fresh and really cheap and big serving portion.<br/ <br/ This place is always packed, usually do takeaway, just tel them what time are you going to pick up so that they can cook your food close to pick ip time. You are picking up piping hot delicious food."

"Best little discovery this year. I was having a hair cut at a salon in Sylvia Park Mall and chatting with my Japanese hair stylist who recommended this place. She shares that the local Japanese go to this place as its authentic, reasonably priced and the seafood is fresh. That sold us as when a local to that cuisine, recommends it it usually turns out to be the real deal. In this case, Ajimi did not disappoint. <br/ <br/ What I liked about it: <br/ <br/ 1.The food menu was varied with not just sashimi but a good selection of sushi, robatayaki (skewers), izakaya (ala carte dishes) like the ox tongue. <br/ <br/ 2.The drinks menu had a good selection of alcohol (wine, beer, sake) and Japanese liqueurs and various soft drinks like Ramune (Japanese lemonade) etc. Drinks were reasonably priced as was the food menu. <br/ <br/ 3.The place was buzzing with alot of Japanese customers and the serving staff were Japanese (could not see into the kitchen to take a peek at the chef) which lent an authenticity to the place. <br/ <br/ 4.Loved the way they had a $39 special which comprised of a mini kaiseki offering a bit of everything recommended by the chef <br/ <br/ 5. Casual ambience that almost made you feel like you were in a back alley in Tokyo in one of their little bars having a quick meal before catching the Shinkansen somewhere. <br/ <br/ Definitely a new go to for me.<br/"

"Well, where do I start? We booked for 6pm as we had 2 of our grandchildren with us as they were up from Christchurch for the school holidays. Plenty of menu choices some had pizza others had lasagne, gnocchi with cockles. Pizza garlic bread for a quick starter was plentiful and very tasty. All of the food was well presented, staff attentive and the owner paid special attention to the children. We all really enjoyed our meal's and will definitely be back after our trip to Europe."

"Came in for a pre dinner snack with my brother. Got a fish of the day and potato fritter. Fish tasted really fresh and batter was deep fried to perfection. Highly recommend to anyone who’s feeling fishy at night."

"Beautiful views! Came for Friday Oyster special for 3pm, as advertised. To be told at 3:06 (while the place is empty) they already sold out of all the oysters. Sooo.. Got some snacks. The squid dish was quite bland, but crispy. The sliders were OK. Havent tried much else as they only serve snacks and some of the cabinet food (not much left) between the lunch and dinner. But will be back as they are dog friendly, outside"

"Marsic Bros<br/ Dare I say the best Fish and Chip store in the Mt Wellington and possibly Auckland? <br/ <br/ Located in Mayfair Square, Glen Innes. A family run establishment with seasoned veterans in the Kitchen, Marsic is a part of a dying breed of traditional Fish and Chip stores, where you can buy fresh seafood, smoked salmon and also fish and chips.<br/ <br/ As a first-time visitor to the store, a few things stood out to me. A constant stream of customers, many would probably be regulars as they were greeted by the staff by name and a very clean feeling towards the store. <br/ A range of different other extra condiments to order along with your classic Fish and Chips, I decided to get a batch of fried mussels.<br/ <br/ In total I ordered 3 Fish, 2 Potato Fritters, $2 Fries and 5 Fried Mussels. I’ll admit I’m not a seasoned and cultured Fish and Chip consumer, my basic criteria for a good batch of Fish and Chips revolves solely around two factors; portion and value. <br/ It was surprising therefore that I released how amazing the taste was, crispy crunch, fresh flavor made for absolutely delightful meal. <br/ <br/ Me and partner absolutely adored the Fried Mussels and the fish wasn’t flimsy like other takeaway places.<br/ In essence Marisc Bro’s is my go to Fish and Chip store and it should be yours too.<br/ <br/ Showstopper: Fritters, Mussel and Fish! Authentic Fish and Chips done correctly<br/ <br/ Overall Grade: A"

"Wanted to grab something for quick lunch. So thought of trying their range of seafood skewers. I ordered Takoyaki octopus balls, Homemade tartare snapper tempura, Panko crumbed mayo prawns, Seafood mayo crab surimi tempura. All of them tasted good, quantity was good too. Staff was kind and helpful. Will try more of their skewers next time. Thank you."

"Super friendly service. And very fast receiving meals considering how busy they were. My partner got the pizza ,was one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. I got seafood pasta which wasn't too bad. Will be back for the pizza."

"A beautiful gem out east. <br/>I went here for dinner to celebrate Mother's Day. And what a great choice it was. <br/>We were welcomed in for our group of 7 and we ordered a variety of dishes. The staff went above and beyond for us and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, as did everyone. <br/>I ordered a beautiful eye fillet that was perfectly cooked medium rare accompanied by succulent vegetables. From portion size, taste, to presentation and time, this meal was cooked with love. <br/>Definitely returning to this restaurant"
