"Had a take away end of August the pork was so tough it wasnt edible , I rang to let them know and they credited me for the dish which I felt was more than fair . Tonight I again ordered for home delivery amongst other things Pork Balls, with Sweet/Sour sauce big mistake again they were unchewable so ended up in the bin, the remainder of the meal was plentiful but mediocre at best ,The spring rolls were chewy. They will not be getting another chance im afraid twice bitten third time shy . no axe to grind just speaking as i find .Disappointed"

"We have takeaway fish from this van almost every week in Hemyock, but have also picked up meals from some of their other venues. Fresh Brixham and Cornish fish is fab, my favourite being hake. Lobster burger is good too. Dirty ole bird chicken burger was a revelation, a big portion too. We can't fault this outlet which consistently has the best fish and chips we've ever had. Staff are professional and very friendly too. The prices are cheap,for the standard of food."

"Had an excellent meal tonight with a friend first time we’ve been out since lockdown. Service and atmosphere spot on. On specials menu I had ..... Hay smoked ham scrumpet like a giant croquette with apple cider sauce scrummy scrumpet Main of Lamb blackberry sauce perfectly complimented the lamb Sublime blackberry pavlova lived up to my expectations Thanks James and Team will be back in a couple of weeks on 3 Sept (booked as soon as I got home) for our anniversary. And happy anniversary to James too!"

"We ended up at this lovely pub, due to another one randomly being closed. The food is proper home cooked grub and lovely. The bar itself appeared to have mainly locals who were all friendly. There is also a pool table, which now is almost unheard of in a pub. We had the pizzas and they were delicious. We’re vegetarians, but one of us doesn’t have diary either and the staff catered for that, the best they could. The only thing I would say is that on the menu, there isn’t a great selection for anyone who is dairy free and even quite limited (nowadays) for a veggie, but the rest of the menu looked lovely. It is also dog friendly. Staff very friendly."
