"I ate this week in this restaurant. I read some reviews and decided to try it but…the food is not good. The cocktails are not well served and the tacos are very small and pretty much empty. Quality cost ratio is very small. I...would recommend eating somewhere else for better food and cost."

"The view was really nice when we were sitting outside. The furnishings and the atmosphere in the restaurant were exceptional. The staff was numerous, but not the kindest pile. Someone should remind them that they work for tips. The food was so (I guess maybe...we expected more because the atmosphere was really nice and the menu looked amazing). I think this restaurant really needs a new manager and chef. The wine list was excellent and the wine I drank, and the company I made the night enjoyable. When we finished our dinner, our plates were sitting at the table too long. We've never been asked if we want desert or coffee. After waiting for a long time, we had to fly a waiter and ask for the check. We waited and waited (maybe 15 minutes, and I should note here, the restaurant was perhaps at 30% capacity). We had to ask for the check again. And again the waiter was not in a hurry. This could be a really good restaurant, but it's not."

"Being locked up in the city in the desert mountains, it is hard to find great seafood like in playa del carmen or san blas, but pescaderia martinez tijerina gets it right. this small chain of restaurants in monterrey has a limited menu, but just does. about everything right. we often visit and try different things from the menu, but the garnelen cocktail and wobble rings are excellent. also, they come there early, as they only remain open until 17 o'clock."
