"I was sincerely disappointed at eating. I ordered an eye fillet steak. the steak was dry and I ordered a medium rare when I checked, it is not at all close to rare. it was easy to medium and mostly well done. I don't like good steaks. but I had no choice but to eat because I had starving and I could not wait for another long waiting period for a proper order. we also ordered so many chips for entrees. when we ordered our main meals, we did not say any chips with them, but some meal times were still coming with chips. However, the chips, bbq wings and the brot we ordered were good."

"My husband and I came here for dinner. The chicken Caesar salad was bland and lettuce. There was no dressing and very little bacon or much else. The chicken was tiny dried out pieces and was burnt. My husbands meal was not much...better. The steak was over cooked and came with few fries and a salad of lettuce, a small tomato and a half slice of cucumber. The service was shocking and we will not be back."

"I've visited Watercress on a few previous occasions and was impressed with my meals. I took my new partner to Watercress for dinner some months later on my recommendation. There was only one wait staff to about 6 or so tables and was hard to get her when free for drink refills while waiting for our meals. The trio of dips was not very palatable, too much oil was used and the dips were very cold and not vert tasty compared to when! I had them previously. But the disappointing part was when my partner's main dish which was the salmon came out and it was a thin slice the more resembled what should have been an entre size. Luckily we ordered sides at an extra cost but given the size and price should have been included at no extra. There are no pictures of meals to give you prior warning to meal sizes which would of helped and forewarned. There were hardly any desserts left to choose from as well which only left me feeling embarrassed and with egg on my face as I had recommended this place and he was shouting me to dinner. All up with no entres ordered and no alcohol came to $95 and left my partner commenting "we won't come here again ""

"Help the storm. on Friday 3rd mai 2015 our family had arranged after the death of our pop for a version. this was the day of the storm; the hotel to flood. the 4 of us who made it, the curse was a 90-year-old woman in a wheel chair. the workers with all their problems could still be more than helpful when they look around us. the bar staff, the security man and the manager stayed with us all for the three and a half hours to get a taxi after our car was flooded (later written off) we can thank them enough. maggie reeve, dan mcintosh, john tillack mary tillack"

"The chicken curry I had was like suppe to avoid it unless they want suppe. (apparently red crane makes it all the time like suppe. could work on a teller, but not in a bowl."

"Really disappointed. We hadn't been in a while and were looking forward to seeing the new refurb and menu. The food was cold and portions a lot smaller than before. Queues for drinks were long but I suppose they were busy due to it being close to Xmas. Staff don't seem as friendly as before either."
