"J. Michaels is definitely a place we would revisit. The crab legs were our favorite followed by the No Name Pie. Some of items we tried and liked were the grouper sandwich (easy go-to), seafood platter (didn’t realize the whole plate was fried though), and shrimp pasta (lots and lots of seasoning). We tried to go on the weekend but the wait was over an hour. We went back on a Thursday and got right in. Service was pretty good but with so many people it did take some time for drinks and actually get the food so be prepared. I think we averaged $20 per person for plate with a mix order of crab legs and other seafood. Definitely not unreasonable for the quality of food! We will be back and to visit our dollar bill we stuck up."

"Small building tucked away, easy to miss if you don’t know it’s there. Added parking in the back. Limited indoor seating but also seating outside if a nice day. Great fresh bread and olive oil with spices, salad very good with tasty dressing, pasta was hot off the stove and chicken breast (2 pieces) was very tasty and moist. Interior seating is a bit noisy, which for some reason makes it feel more intimate, like you’re lost in the crowd. I hate to say it but the pasta sauce tasted a lot like Ragu, and could use a little more flavor, or something…. vegetable pieces? Overall very good !"

"Ordered the Locals hamburger. Came out of kitchen quickly. Had no cheese or carmelized onions as the menu indicated would be o. We asked our server and she said they were on the burger. I told her they were not. She brought us ICE COLD onions right out of the refrigerator. She then said that is how they are served-cold on the side. Very disappointed in our meal and server."

"Just my favorite place in town. Food is always incredible, specials are great, and the staff has always treated me like family. It feels like my version of Cheers. As a rule, don't even have to order again, just ask the cook to make me something good and surpass it. Very recommended."

"Always great food and great service! My husband and I love going for brunch on Sundays. We had a new server, I wish we would have written down her name (I believe Courtney) that was very helpful. I was having trouble deciding between a few dishes and she made some recommendations. She recommended the Cobia or the fish and grits. I ordered the blackened Cobia, so my husband decided to get the fish and grits. Both were amazing, I don’t think we have ever had a bad experience there! Thank you for being one of our favorite go-to restaraunts in the area! Thank you as well to our server! She did a wonderful job!"
