"Friendly staff, beautiful ambience and honestly one of the best meals we've eaten made our night at Circa 1902 a night to remember. The flavours and presentation of the food were perfect. The menu was original and packed with flavour. The staff were welcoming and attentive. We will definitely be back next time we visit the area and will be recommending this restaurant to family and friends. Thank you for a great dining experience."

"All the lovely reviews made us travel the bus stops right upto the end of the line, and boy, were we not sorry at all. The first thing was the warm friendly staff who really are interested in your comfort and well being. We walked in on this cold rainy day and there was no delay in seating us, while adhering to all the precautions for Covid19 social distancing. The staff was friendly with lots of suggestions about the menu and the specials. We ordered the Seafood Chowder and the Captain's Breakfast (yep, we were hungry). The food was delivered in very little wait time, despite the reduced crowds. The Captain's breakfast was scrumptious, crispy bacon, amazing greens and oh Lord, those whole button mushrooms left me wanting more. I asked for my eggs poached and the eggs were well done, the proper immersion way, not the cling wrap shortcut that most brunch places do (hardcore brunch lovers will get this). Now the Seafood Chowder was another thing altogether. Rich creamy flavourful broth with a generous mix of fish, clams, prawns and scallops. And the portion size was BIG. We could not finish it, even though you just could not stop eating. On a cold rainy day, that was the kind of meal that fills you up and warms your heart at the same time. The place is perfect if you're waiting for the ferry, or if you just want to enjoy good food with a great view of the sea. I'd definitely go back again and again."

"We have been dining here last night and I am not usually one to write reviews, but I was a bit disappointed. eating is too expensive for what they get. while eating is delicious enough, it is nothing special and is on the small side. I had the creamy chicken/avocado/Mushroom pasta and for $26, for a pasta, they would expect a good portion size or exceptional food and it was also not. my partner had the prawn risotto, which was a little salty, had 6 garne and was very small! the beer was the most disappointing part. the menu did not specify which size, but for $9, we expected a pint, or even a silooner, but a pot beer for $9!? the staff was nice and the food was fast, but I wouldn't go back. for glorified pub food and a beer came our bill to $73."

"We arrived to find a rustic kiosk for dinner in the park, we were taken to our sitting in the marquee. if they are looking for a relaxing dinner where they can talk to their group, they look elsewhere. we have been offered water or alcohol no soft drink options for children. there was a small selection of meals (3 escapes and 3 nets) that offered very little taste. the most disappointing aspekt as mentioned above was the noise. noise, I can in the rule but because of the marquee the sound resonated and they find themselves repeating themselves about the cacophony of the high tones of the middle age women who become tired like their faces. we were so disappointed."
