"Visit to St Pol scheduled at the last minute. We have selected a few restaurants. Moving on from this one, a nice surprise: the artichoke is king here! There is still room, due to Storm Ciaran and the telephone cut-off. The menu looks good, but we choose à la carte. 3 entries. All 3 look appetizing. Buckwheat crumble with shrimp and breaded cauliflower, smoked trout. The journey starts very well, served with Macon loché and a red Touraine. Then the stuffed artichoke on the Asia side and the stuffed artichoke on the Argoat side. A white Quincy goes with Asia: perfect! Impossible not to have dessert. It will be the tangy Galange and lemon-caviar crème brulée. Light, tasty, a treat! Whether it was the cuisine or the service, it was an excellent discovery. Little anecdote: we met two couples we met the day before in a restaurant in Roscoff. Gourmets recognize good addresses."

"Missed out last year due to being in the area on the days they are closed. Food was just as good as we remembered with both a la crate and set menus available. As previously we booked and again they were turning people away within 20 minutes of opening so if you do fancy it make sure you book. There are lots of places to eat in and around St Pol/Roscoff but this is now a firm favourite."

"We ate here twice on our last trip to st pol de leon, 5 of us in the first night and 4 of us in the second. we all had diffferent pizza and pasta dishes and they were all delicious, the waitress is so...friendly and helpful and there is a nice atmosphere here. the desserts were also very nice and we came away feeling full and happy . reasonable prices for very good quality eating with many local food here, which is always a good sign, a small jewel:"

"We visited when camping nearby. It was a very windy wet evening and the restaurant was warm and welcoming with a gorgeous view across the bay. The food was great and we felt our meal was good value as well as crepes there is a long ice cream list which is worth saving room for. Would definitely visit again if we were in the area."

"Our French is poor but the host helped us to understand the menu, with humour. When I ordered steak tartare via the waitress, he came out to make sure I understood the meat would be raw. It was delicious. And later I saw, when he had his meal with his family, he too ate the steak tartare. Beautiful position looking across the water. Highly recommend."
