"Just a short drive from Sitia town, this is a hidden gem on the village square. The atmosphere is very nice and the food is highest quality: large portions, good value for money, very hospitable and the best grilled octopus we had in a long time! They will bring you a meze with the purchase of Raki that fills enough and they will also bring you some fruit at the end! Definitely a must to visit."

"We visited this Tavern three times in one week, that probably already says enough. Every single dish is delicious, we tried most of the starters and a few main courses. The host is super friendly and gives you a very warm welcome. His mother is the genius cook, his lovely daughter serves as well. An absolute must-visit on your trip to south Crete!"
