"Wonderful mom and pop joint.A great way to beat the chain shops. Great flavors and a menu with variety really make this a must visit place.The fried plantains and corn cakes are the biggest hits!My only complaint is that everything is just a little saucy/wet. Normally, I can be okay with that but the sauces are also a bit sweet. This overwhelms the taste buds a little. A fish or shrimp taco should not really be dripping sweet sauce."

"I wanted to love it here so much. It was a huge let down. The restaurant itself was pretty. We sat at a high top. Waitress was not even remotely happy to wait on us or attentive. Food was so bland. We had the mussels as an appetizer they were ok and just one slice of bread. My husband had a steak dish. The steak did not taste good at all. No seasoning on it all all. The potatoes were good. I had a shrimp dish. The shrimp was ok. The cakes were terrible. Presentation was nice."
