"Moving here to Stockton from Yorkshire we were quite shocked at the drop in standard of fish and chips. Seemingly a couple of miles apart and there is a world of difference. This is the first place that we've been to around here that measures...up to the high standards of Yorkshire fish and chips."

"After 7 years not to visit it was like back in a comfortable couple of shoes. good honest Italian eating, the always present rocco entertains the guests we love. only the thing that gave up this visit was a false starter order and 30 minutes between start and run. still good value for money."

"So a great place to visit for a meal both for lunch or dinner. since Covid restrictions on location and place everything is ordered and paid on their online app. it takes a few minutes to set it up and save a card number to its account. Once set up, it is user-friendly, but the personal is very helpful and assures us that we can ask for help at any time. the food and drinks were served quickly and it tasted great. very popular pub, so would recommend booking a table in advance. we're coming back."

"I must have gone on a bad day, really struggling to understand all these reviews Chips, the main event IMHO, were okay, nothing special, not bad, not great. The portion size was tiny. Half what I would expect and get at most other chippys. Maybe it’s different for locals? Other people’s pics seem to show more Fish was okay taste wise nothing more. Not the biggest portion but not overly stingy like the chips It was very clean from what I could tell so top marks for that for fish and chips is more than I would pay round my way but perhaps it’s the going rate here in Stockton?"
