"I'm 48 and we have gone to this restaurant since the 1960's. The fish has changed. I liked it better the old way. Don't get me wrong, I still think it is the best in town. We have lived in Norfolk VA, Galveston, and Oakland, CA. I speak from experience. It is a great bargain as well."

"Have been going here ever since they opened. My husband and I eat here at least once a month. The service has always been excelent, and the servers are exceptionally friendly. The food is always really good, and I've tried many of there items. The atmosphere here is casual and very comfortable. I feel like I'm at home, except I'm not doing the cooking."

"Service was horrible. Waited 30 minutes for one appetizer that was dripping in grease. Would have had to wait another 45 minutes to an hour just for entrees.Saw the waitress when she took our drink order and didn’t come back for 10 minutes. Brought drink then walked off again. Restaurant was not busy. Definitely do not recommend!"

"This is one of the worst Mexican restaurant in the south side. First I would like to give credit to one of the best waitresses I've ever had (Mari) girl you need to find another restaurant to work at. your hospitality is by far the best. Back to the food. The salsa we received had already turned sour and the other salsa was just red dirty water and tasted like so. I ordered 2 cheese enchiladas with a crispy taco with charro beans. The enchiladas were so hard not even a knife could cut them. The rice tasted old and the crispy taco was so disgusting. The shell was stale and the meat tasted like nothing. The charro beans had a weird flavor that I just gave up. Last thing I needed was food poisoning. The waitress brought us chips with beans and cheese but they lacked flavor that no amount of salt could fix. We never tried the other salsas as we feared they might be bad too. My husband's ordered the same but with the steak. The meat tasted like it was cooked in the morning and just put in the microwave for us. The guacamole that was smeared on the plate looked and tasted like it came from a bag. The ONLY good thing about this restaurant was the glass of cold water. DO NOT BOTHER. Keep driving. Hell Pica Pica might have better food than this place."

"This was a very good experience. Friendly waitstaff. The food had great presentation, though I felt the rice in my seafood paella was a bit undercooked. My husband loved his fish. I loved the cerviche appetizer and both sauces (red and green). My Sangria was strong and delicious. I will try this one again, different dish next time."

"This place is hidden right next to the HEB. You just walk in and order, and the food and drinks come out fast, and the food is hot. Comes with all the spices and veggies. Pho was just right, and noodles cooked right also. They can make it as spicy as you want. I'm going to try other things on menu from here."
