"This venue is located right on the corner opposite Longshan Temple. It's pretty hard to miss! The food is made to order and comes out fresh and nourishing. However, getting there at 7pm is asking for a long wait and is best avoided. Come from 5pm onwards for an early dinner, or after 8pm for a late dinner to avoid wasting up to 30 minutes waiting for your order: it's a two-person operation with one person only cooking. Don't order until you see someone buying something that takes your fancy. Even if you can read Chinese, the meals may not be what you expect! The $60 vegan sushi is the only food item you can walk away with, so is good for a quick snack."

"Eat more of a Thai fusion style. my mostly vegan/seafood lover husband and I tried this place to dinner and both loved him. they have enough options for me that I thought to be acceptable. definitiw make them known their diet preferences (eggs hide in a few dinge mushroom fried rice and the papaya tofu pasta, which used i tofu . overall I was satisfied. would definitely go back with a mixed group, but I wouldn't hurry to take my vegan friends there. updated by previous review on 2020 03 07"

"Actually, I was looking for Restaurant YouYou at the underground mall of Taipei Main Station. It was closed, but someone called me Xiū Yuán SùShí. It's easy to find: Walk over exit Z8. After a few steps you can turn right into a smaller road. This is where Xiū Yuán SùShí is located (trying to recognize it from the photo, there is no Western script everywhere . Xiū Yuán SùShí looks cheap and dirty. People have to share a table. The building and the furniture are old and worn. The open kitchen at the entrance is chaotic. When I entered, I got a large laminated English menu and the order (not a friendly request to go out the way and sit down. A local who helps me choose. He chose fake fish with steamed rice for me, with Chinese drug soup on the side. He also made me taste some of his meals (the soup from the leaves of the sweet potato was very good! . His selection was the culinary highlight of my trip! See before I visited the first-class vegan places that offer great food, but nothing new.
